Back Door Gun Control – Dick Morris: Hillary Trying to pull a Fast one!!!
58 Senators oppose the Gun Control Treaty.
But Obama and Hillary are still going to implement the Treaty.
Obama & Hillary will sign the United Nations Gun Control Treaty on July 27th.Under the Vienna Convention once a treaty is signed it binds the signing nation to the treaty so that implementation can immediately begin. Under our Constitution either the President must reject the Treaty or the Senate must reject the treaty, in order to invalidate it.
Harry Reid will never bring it up for a Vote in the Senate & Obama if Re-elected will Never Renounce it .Therefore , there is no legal way to stop the Treaty’s implementation .
Since under our Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, a Treaty has the Force of a Constitutional Amendment, Obama Can and Will begin its implementation.

I’m not under the impression that a treaty becomes de-facto valid (ratified) if the Senate doesn’t take a vote. Isn’t the power to create treaties in BOTH the Executive and Senate’s hands and the failure of both kills it?
