Select Committee on Intelligence (Ranking Member) Adam Schiff’s Recent CNN Interview’s Apparent Support for Nunes Allegation, That Trump Team was Surveilled

April 2, 2017 in Select Committee on Intelligence, Surveillance

Breitbart is reporting that the Ranking Member on the Select Committee on Intelligence, Adam Schiff (D-CA) “…told CNN’s Jake Tapper on State of the Union on Sunday morning that he “can’t say whether anything was masked or unmasked properly” after visiting the White House on Friday to see the same the surveillance documents that committee chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) saw last month.”

This appears to be an astounding as well as a  begrudgingly turnabout in tone for Rep. Schiff who had previously stated earlier in March about Chairman Nunes that  “… I’ve certainly talked to the chairman, but whatever information he has reviewed he hasn’t provided to the committee, not his own members, certainly not our members. So at this point, the only people who do know are the chairman and the president. And given that the president’s associates are the subject in part of the investigation, that’s wholly inappropriate. And unfortunately, I think it really impugns the credibility of the chairman in terms of his ability to conduct an independent investigation.”
