For the past week, Glenn Beck has been investigating a Saudi national once identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing.  The story has taken a number of alarming twists and turns, but on his radio program Wednesday, Beck released some of the most interesting information yet.

But first, here are a few background points on how the case developed:

 

 

 

  • A Saudi national originally identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing was set to be deported under section 212, 3B — “Security and related grounds” — “Terrorist activities” after the bombing on April 15
  • TheBlaze received word that the government may not deport the Saudi national — identified as Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi – as the story gained traction on April 18.
  • Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano refused to answer questions on the subject by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) on Capitol Hill on April 18, saying the inquiry was “so full of misstatements and misapprehension that it’s just not worthy of an answer.”
  • An ICE official said April 18 that a different Saudi national is in custody, but that he is “in no way” connected to the bombings.
  • Key congressmen of the Committee on Homeland Security request a classified briefing with Napolitano on April 22
  • New info provided to TheBlaze reveals Alharbi’s file was altered on the evening of April 17 to disassociate him from the initial charges
  • Sources say April 22 that the Saudi’s student visa specifically allows him to go to school in Findlay, Ohio, though he appears to have an apartment in Boston, Massachusetts.  A DHS official told TheBlaze Alharbi properly transferred his student visa to a school in Massachusetts
  • TheBlaze sources reveal April 22 that Alharbi was put on a terror watchlist after the bombing, andNapolitano confirms he was on a “watchlist” April 23.

On his radio program, Beck began with an overview of how the case unfolded, noting that Alharbi has rapidly gone from “person of interest, to witness, to victim, to nobody.”

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano even said yesterday that Alharbi was just “in the wrong place at the wrong time” and was “never a subject,” after ridiculing inquiries into the matter last week.

But Wednesday, Beck presented new information after a Blaze source directly read the original event file, and multiple government sources with knowledge of the case and files contributed their knowledge.

Napolitano could serve “jail time for perjury,” Beck declared, and she will be “the first to fall.”

Here are a couple of new points, as Beck related them:

Alleged Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi

  • At the time the event file was created for Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, it indicated he was “armed and dangerous”
  • Alharbi was admitted into the country under a “special advisory option,” which is usually reserved for visiting politicians, VIPs, or journalists.  The event file cover page indicates he was granted his status without full vetting.
  • One of the first excuses given by law enforcement when confronted about Alharbi’s pending deportation was an expired visa.  But according to the event file, his visa is good until 11-NOV-2016.
  • The event file indicates he entered the U.S. on 08/28/12 in Boston, MA but says he is a student at the University of Findlay, in Findlay, Ohio.  He has an apartment in Boston, and doesn’t seem to have been a full-time student in Ohio.
  • When a file is created in the system the author(s) are notified via email when it is accessed, and given the email address of the person accessing, so there is a record within the government data system of who deleted them.  It was amended to remove the deportation reference, then someone later went in and tried to destroy both the original event file and an amended versions.  Copies had already been made.
  •  The original event file was reviewed and approved by two high level agents – Chief Watch Commander Maimbourg and Watch Commander Mayfield.

Beck explained: “Subject is an exact match to that no fly order.  That means, we have been presented bad information…and it was reviewed, and found to be sufficient.  Subject has One (1) prior event...When they opened this when he was at the hospital, they found he’s already in the system!”

“A 212, 3B is from the Patriot Act…It is the biggest warning we can put on anybody,” he explained for those unfamiliar with the term.  “You do not put people’s name on there easily…this is a terrorist designation, and there is a panel of agencies that you have to go and make your case to.  It’s not like you’re standing in the hospital room and they say: ‘Make him a 212,3B.’   And if they are, they’re abusing their power….It is so rare that somebody’s name is taken off outside of death, that none of ours sources can tell us that it’s ever happened.  It is laughable what Janet Napolitano said yesterday.”

Certainly, a litany of questions remain.

Was Alharbi considered “armed and dangerous” before the Boston bombing, or at it?  Was it related to something they found at his apartment?  Was his prior “event” from the days prior, at the bombing, or was it from an earlier period in his life?

Moreover, how was he admitted into the country under a “special advisory option?”  How many students receive that privilege, particularly without property security clearance?

In Beck’s estimation, the entire situation at the least amounts to an alarming lack of transparency, and at the worst, an abuse of power and cover-up.

“This is not about this one guy,” Beck noted, “but by the way — where is this extraordinarily dangerous man?  Ask that question, you’re not going to like the answer.”

“That’s what TheBlaze is releasing today,” he continued.  “Once they explain away all of this, if you want to continue to discredit me, you will discredit yourself but more importantly, you will put the citizens of this country at stake.”

“The congressional source, however, said the information sent to Congress showed that a file was created on “Abdul Rahman Ali Al Harby” at 4 p.m. on Tuesday by an official with the National Targeting Center, a counterterrorism sub-agency of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security. T…he file stated that the individual is “linked to the Boston bombing” and was to be processed for revocation of his visa based on national security grounds, the congressional source revealed.

In order to obtain Federal Funding, school districts are required to develop databases that spy on our children and maintain dossiers on both the child and his or her family! 

If you care about your privacy ant that of  your children, you have to be aware of the transformation that started with George W. Bush and is being trumped, big time, by the Barack Hussein Obama Administration. Only 5 states have opted out of the program namely, Alaska, Nebraska, Minnesota, Texas and Virginia. However, “Today, all 50 states either maintain or are capable of maintaining extensive databases on public-school students.”

Four years ago Glenn talked about the machine progressives were building. The new framework that once ready, they would be able to turn on and fundamentally transform America. What does Glenn feel is THE most important piece of that machinery? Common Core. Using education to indoctrinate the youth has been embedded into the progressive agenda, with both the GOP and Democrats championing the terrifying legislation.

“I don’t know of a time that I have really truly called and put a plea out and sent an SOS out,” Glenn explained at the beginning of radio’s second hour today.

“This has already been done. This is way down the road. You’ll be lucky if it’s not in your school next fall, and it is an end run around your, not only around your state and its sovereignty, but it is an end run around your education department in your state, it is an end run around your board of education in your control community and most importantly it is an end run around you as a parent. It changes fundamentally our entire system. This is I believe the most important piece of fundamental transformation and you are going to hear a few things that you will find hard to believe, but I ask you today to please do your own homework. Do not take this at all from me. Do your own homework, and may I recommend you do it today and then you link arms with people and you get back into your 9/12 group.”

For weeks, Glenn has been exposing indoctrination in schools. It started with an expose on CSCOPE, which expanded to Common Core. It was during last week’s episode on Common Core that a guest discussed the scary amounts of data be collected on kids, and last night Glenn uncovered some of the scariest information on this topic yet.

“I’ve asked the experts, what other country is doing anything like this? The only one that’s even close, and it’s not in this ballpark, is China. There’s no one else in this ballpark. Our children are the guinea pigs for the world. We will lead the way. And do you remember when I said we wouldn’t be destroyed; we would be perverted? Profound darkness on this,” Glenn said.

“What I’m going to lay out for you, none of it is opinion; it all comes from government documents and all from either the stimulus package or from the Department of Education. But this is a hostile takeover, the final takeover, and the roots come from the stimulus package, although I believe George W. Bush started this ball rolling long ago in No Child Left Behind. And it really came from the idea of, ‘You want this money, you’re going to have to live by these standards.’ And that was what was in this stimulus package,” he explained.

The 2009 Stimulus Bill included provisions encouraging states to develop data systems for collecting a large amount of information on public-school kids. Today, all 50 states either maintain or are capable of maintaining extensive databases on public-school students.

“This is the summary of the stimulus package, HR 167 under Department of Education, “education for the disadvantaged” is what it says. And then it says for additional amount for education for the disadvantaged to carry out Title I of the elementary and secondary education act of 1965, $13 billion will be ‑‑ I’m going to have to count the zeros ‑‑ $13 billion will be provided. $5 billion shall be available for targeted grants under Section 1125 of ESEA, provided further that $5 billion shall be available for education finance incentive grants,” Glenn said.

“What that money again goes to in the stimulus, you know, 40 or 50 pages later: Improving collection and use of data. The State will establish a longitudinal data system that includes elements described in Section 604(e)(2)(d) of the America COMPETES Act. So you have to look that up. But that’s the key. If you want any money, you have to put together a data collection service. What is the data collection service? Well, this I contend is one of the reasons why we had the turtle tunnels and everything else that everybody talked about. Because it kept you away from things like this: $5 billion.”

“Now, Arne Duncan, the Secretary of Education, called this a historic opportunity. I call it bribery. Race to the Top gave the federal government billions of dollars to dangle in front of the cash‑starved states and they dangled and said, ‘All you have to do is sign up for this program. You’ll get the cash.’ And state after state signed.”

Glenn explained that 45 states have signed on but five have backed out, including Texas. However, in Texas they have replaced it with CSCOPE which is equally dangerous.

“But warning: Texas adopted another program almost exactly like it, and the GOP is protecting that program and so you have to be extraordinarily careful because they’ll just rename it. This is not a liberal agenda, this is not a conservative agenda, this is not Republican or Democrat. This is progressive. It is control. States signed up, and they had to develop data systems for collecting large amounts of information on public schoolchildren, and I mean large amounts,” Glenn said.

“These databases will track all kinds of personal data, including but certainly not limited to healthcare histories, income information, the religious affiliation of your family, voting family status, blood types, blood test result, homework completion, hair color, eye color, whether a child was premature or not, do they have any birthmarks, even bus stop arrival information. It goes deep, deep. If they have 44 data points, they can tell you an awful lot about ‑‑ they can tell you just pretty much anything. These are hundreds of data points collected on your children for over 20 years. This is the groundwork for a national student database that will track your kids and their personal information from preschool until the stated end of 20,” Glenn said.

 

“What Common Core and this data collection system really is, the easiest way to understand it, and this is my personal understanding and my personal opinion. I want to separate fact from my opinion so you’re very clear. But the best way I think to describe it is, you know how China goes in and they find the kids that have the most talent for gymnastics and they’ll say, that kid’s going to be fantastic as a gymnast. That kid is a great mathematician. He’s going to work in our nuclear power programs. That’s what happens. By the time you’re 7, your lot is cast,” Glenn explained.

“That’s exactly what this is and that’s why these corporations want this so much. Because they will cast the lots, they will find the best workers by the time they’re 7 and then they will enrich and empower and educate those kids. But if your kid, God forbid, ends up like me when I was 7 or 8, I don’t have a chance. I will be a cog in the machine forever, and you will ‑‑ there will be no escape. There will be no college education.”

“What you will see is state capitalism. Google, Microsoft, GE, data mining our schools to nudge our children into the job the State deems the most needed for the future,” Glenn warned.

GE is one of the companies funding Common Core through it’s foundation.

Now, most parents would assume that any information collected on their kids by the schools would be protected by some kind of privacy laws, right? Not anymore.

Glenn explained last night:

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act used to protect the privacy of kids and a parents written consent was needed to release data. But in 2012, regulations were used to change the need to get parental consent. Now all the information the schools started collecting in 2009 can be shared among various federal agencies and without consent as long as whoever requests it is “conducting certain studies for or on behalf of the school”. According to the National Data Collection Model, the government should collect information on health-care history, family income and family voting status along with religious affiliation and extra curricular activity, and more.

Glenn warned that when fighting back and spreading the word about Common Core, there is a good chance that concerned parents will be treated like conspiracy theorists. Already in Oregon, parents who pushed back on the program were portrayed as kooks who were anti-science.

Al Gore sells Current TV to Al-Jazeera, nets reported $100 million
Former Vice President Al Gore has made himself a much, much richer man by selling his little watched cable channel Current TV to the Emir of Qatar-funded Arab news channel Al-Jazeera.
Gore netted $100 million with his 20 percent stake in the network when it was sold for a reported $500 million on Wednesday.

Al-Jazeera plans to euthanize the struggling, seven-year-old Current TV and turn it into Al-Jazeera America by adding five to 10 new U.S. bureaus beyond the five it has now. More than half of its content will be U.S. news, and the network will have its headquarters in New York, according to a rep.

Glenn Beck Pens a New Book on the Dangers and Consequences of UN Agenda 21

Those who follow Glenn Beck might be aware that Tuesday November 20th marked the release of his latest book, “Agenda 21,” the suspenseful and perhaps sobering tale of a futuristic America in which a UN-led program spawned an authoritarian state where individuals are stripped of all personal rights and freedoms. Oddly, Beck’s novel is not simply a work of fiction, but based on an actual program created by the United Nations by the very same name — “Agenda 21″ — which, according to the UN’s own website, is a “comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations system, governments and major groups, in every area in which human impacts on the environment.” In so many words, the United Nations seeks to co-opt, via individual governments, and eventually, a “one-world government,” privately held land under the auspices of ensuring its “sustainability.” Worse still, the UN’s Agenda 21 has even laid out plans for “depopulation” or rather, “population control.” If it sounds like something out of George Orwell’s 1984, that is because Agenda 21′s tenets are eerily in line with the demented alternate reality Orwell himself had imagined while scribing the pages of his famed novel. “Sustainable development” is the catch-phrase Beck urged his Monday evening viewers to be leery of. Where one can live and what land should be designated for would, under fully-realized Agenda 21 plan, be controlled by the United Nations and a future one-world government. An Election Message from Glenn Beck

Hello America,

 

We are three days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America, again.

On Tuesday, each one of us will have the opportunity to take part in our most treasured right as Americans. We will be able to walk into that voting booth, close the curtain, and cast our ballot not just for the man who will lead us for the next four years, but also for the direction we want to take our country for the next hundred years. Will we choose to continue on the road we have been down for most of the past century, a path that has led to bigger government, more dependence, and less personal responsibility? Or is it time to turn things around and head in a direction that finds solution in individuals, faith and family?
In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, it’s easy to throw your hands up in the air and say, “Yes, we clearly need a big federal government! We need FEMA! We need President Obama to swoop in and save the day! Please, help us!” Rarely, however, is the easy thing to do the same as the right thing to do. You will receive pressure from your liberal neighbors and the mainstream media as they hammer the message of big government. They’ll try and convince you you’re selfish, racist, and hateful because you don’t believe in turning to the federal government for help. They don’t understand that we believe that individuals can and will be the people on the ground leading the way in helping our friends and neighbors.

Just look at some of the stories coming out in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy to see where the progressive mentality leads us. In New York City, the Heath Department shut down a Chinese restaurant that was trying to feed people without food or electricity. Devastated areas like Staten Island and Coney Island are ignored by the Red Cross. Utility workers all the way from Alabama are turned away because they aren’t members of a union. In the height of insanity, Mayor Bloomberg was encouraging the New York Marathon to run as planned tomorrow while many areas are still without power and available resources decline. It was only after days of public pressure that he finally changed his mind.

President Obama says that we need to move forward. They say that we need to keep making progress. That government will be the key to turning around the economy. The truth is that we cannot continue down this path. But we know of a different way.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle believe they can make a better decision than you. And that is going to stop.  Because progress was not made by politicians. Real progress is made by the average people. As the radio theme song says – YOU will be the key.

We must begin a new chapter of American exceptionalism. A new century of American exploration and discovery. We won’t get it from one political party. One politician. One dreamer. We will get it when we rely on ourselves. On the facts. On the truth. And most importantly when we rely on God.

I know we face difficult choices. So do you. America is in trouble financially, people have gone astray, we have a weak economy, a weak dollar. We have put our troops in harm’s way too many times, on missions that don’t always make sense. And despite our military power, we are not feared, not respected, and not honored.

But you know what? I’m not afraid. And neither are you.

 

 

On Tuesday, I want you to go to the polls and vote for the principles and values that represent the America that you want to live in. One where small business drives the engine of America. One where success is celebrated, not vilified. One where faith and family shape the choices we make in our daily lives. One where people understand personal responsibility, and neighbors help their neighbors in times of crisis.

Even more importantly, make sure that your neighbors and like-minded friends are going out and voting. Drive your schlub friend to the polls if you have to. This election must be a mandate. We need to stand together and declare what we believe in. We can’t afford another election going to the Supreme Court. There shouldn’t be a question on where our country will be headed on Wednesday morning. You need to go out and do your part.

And don’t forget, it’s not too late to make one final push. Don’t be afraid to talk to your friends and neighbors about this election. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re wrong for standing up for small government. If you’re a faith leader, don’t let the government tell you that you can’t speak about the future of our country to your congregation. This is the most crucial election of our lifetime and we all need to do whatever we can to make sure that principles and values prevail.

America must return to her glory, be strong and fight for freedom. Not just with our might. But with our ideas. Our energy. Our freedom. I declare firm reliance in divine Providence.

This is your moment. This is America’s moment. It’s time to stand up and stand together.

It’s time to restore America.

The Obama Administration is simultaneously creating a Middle East Muslim Caliphate, distancing our support of Israel while weakening our Military, our Economy and attacking our freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution.

Last  May, during a rally for Muslim Brotherhood presidential candidate Mohammad Mursi, Egyptian Cleric Safwat Higazi spoke before an adoring crowd of thousands, proclaiming, “We can see how the dream of the Islamic caliphate is being realized, God willing, by Dr. Mohamed Mursi.” Cleric Safwat Higazi further stated that, “The capital of the United States of the Arabs will be Jerusalem.” 

It should now be clear to any neutral observer that  the Obama Administration has via its “Arab Spring” and “American Weakness” foreign policy initiatives,  have deliberately created  a Muslim Caliphate.

On February 11th 2011, Glenn Beck talking about the Tunisian Revolution stated:

This is coordinated. Tunisia was the beginning. I think there is a chance Tunisia

was our Archduke Ferdinand moment that I’ve been telling you about, warning

And now we see beginning of  the Obama Administration’s and the   Caliphate’s plan to obliterate Israel.  Our Egyptian Embassy , upon orders from the president “apologizes in advance”  for a motion picture uncomplimentary to Allah.  An apology that comes before the attacks on our Egyptian and Libyan Embassies.  After mobs assemble outside our Libyan embassy, our Ambassador is taken to a safe house under the protection of Libya. Our good friends in the Libyan Government  then aid the Muslim Brotherhood  by providing the location of our Ambassador’s “Safe House”, thereby enabling his murder along with other embassy personnel l.  Obama waits before announcing the deaths of our Embassy personnel  even while it is making headlines in Europe.   When he finally speaks, he soft peddles the entire atrocity and can’t wait to get on Air Force One, so he is not too late for his Fundraiser.

For the past 68 years, all Presidents, except Obama, have paid tribute to the fallen soldiers killed on D-Day. This year, instead of honoring the soldiers, he made a campaign trip on Air Force 1 to California to raise funds for his reelection.

The U.S. military has been systematically weakened from within by a combination of idiotic and duplicitous decisions that suggest how far the nation has come from the fundamental understanding that an enemy must be destroyed with sufficient devastation as to never contemplate attacking us or our allies again.

World War Two was a success because both Germany and Japan were required to sign instruments of unconditional surrender. Both nations are now our allies. Even Vietnam where the U.S. blundered into a civil war and was ultimately forced to withdraw now has normalized diplomatic relations and welcomes U.S. investment.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan remain inconclusive due to a combination of timid rules of engagement and the transformation of our military’s mission into “nation-building” that have yielded unsatisfactory results.

The military force that distinguished America as a super power at the mid-point of the last century now is facing draconian funding reductions from a Congress unwilling to make hard decisions about our historic debt.

A July Wall Street Journal editorial, “The Coming Defense Crack-Up,” warned the automatic sequestration, “If implemented, the Pentagon budget would be cut by another 9% (or $492 billion) over the next decade, on top of the $487 billion in cuts that are already planned. Defense accounts for the largest share of total sequestration, or 42.6%m according to the Congressional Budget Office.”

“The sequestration cuts would leave the defense budget some 30% smaller in 10 years.” Does anyone believe that the world will be any safer in two years or ten years? Or that weakening our defense will make us safer in a world bristling with nuclear arms and other weapons of mass destruction?

If the sequestration cuts are pure folly, then the use of our defense forces as a means to avoid “global warming” is sheer insanity. There is no global warming insofar as the Earth entered a natural cooling cycle in 1998 and the claim that carbon dioxide is “causing” global warming is completely baseless. A tiny element of the Earth’s atmosphere — 0.038% — carbon dioxide (CO2) has been the excuse environmentalists have used to attack our manufacturing and energy sectors. Now it is being used to render our military weaker through a requirement to use biofuels.

On October 8, 2009, President Obama issued Executive Order 13514, ordering the Defense Department and other agencies to reduce CO2 and other so-called greenhouse gas emissions. He set a goal of having the ships that defend our nuclear carriers powered by biofuels.

How stupid is this? First of all, America sits atop enough oil reserves to make us energy independent if the Obama administration would permit exploration and extraction domestically and offshore. The U.S. Geological Survey reports that the U.S. possesses 26% of the world’s oil supply. The Obama administration assertion that the U.S. has only 2% of the world’s supply is a lie.

There is zero need for biofuels. By 2020, the Navy has been instructed to use alternative fuel for half of its consumption. A recent naval exercise cost the Navy $27 per gallon of biofuel, versus $3.50 to $4.00 for standard petroleum fuel. As this is being written, Americans are required to use ethanol, a biofuel, in every gallon of gas they put in their cars, needlessly increasing the cost with no benefit in mileage and at the risk of damaging their car engines.

The Air Force is also subject to these mandates for biofuels that cost more than $26 per gallon, compared with standard jet fuel at $4 per gallon. Both the Navy and Air Force face the prospect of having to refuel ships and planes in potential battle zones where every gallon of biofuel would have to be transported from the U.S. for lack of biofuel refineries in Asian, Mideast or Mediterranean ports. Can you spell d-e-f-e-a-t?

These biofuel mandates are part of the Obama administration’s crony capitalism that has seen “alternative energy” lose billions in loan guarantees to solar companies and the government mandates that maintain the wind power industry that, like ethanol, would not exist without federal government support.

Phil Dunmire, the national president of the Navy League of the United States, on July 18, warned that “The defense and maritime industries are being jeopardized from within” noting that “programs related to our nation’s defense will absorb half of the sequestration costs despite being just 19% of the national spending budget.” These cuts go into effect in January!

The sequestration and other budget cuts, and the global warming biofuel mandates will leave the U.S. more vulnerable to attack and defeat since the end of World War Two. Our Navy has shrunk. Our combat air fleet is old. The manpower of military forces has been reduced and subjected to restrictions that leave every soldier and marine subject to investigation for every enemy they kill.

The exception to the long engagement in the Middle East was the successful killing of Osama bin Laden, but even that was tarnished by a President who took full credit for it and released information about it that runs contrary to the safety of all comparable future missions. Within days, the White House provided a briefing on it to a Hollywood producer and writer in order to facilitate a film lauding the mission.

The greatest force for the defense of the nation and for freedom in the world is being reduced by a Congress and a White House who refuse to recognize the threats that exist in a dangerous world.

Michele Bachmann responds to attacks after she calls for investigation into Muslim Brotherhood

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann joined The Glenn Beck Radio Program on GBTV (soon to be known as TheBlaze) this morning to discuss the growing influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in Washington, DC and the attacks on her in the wake of her calls for an investigation. GLENN: There are a few people in Washington D.C. that I trust and tell the truth. There are a few people that call me every time they turn on a water faucet from Washington D.C. and they say, “I just want you to know I’m holding a press conference today because I turned on a water faucet.” You’re like, oh. And after a while, I don’t take those people’s phone calls and after a while I stop reading their e‑mails. And there are a few people that are in it for the wrong reasons. And then there are a few people ‑‑ Jim DeMint is one of them, Michele Bachmann is one of them, Mike Lee is one of them ‑‑ that do it for the right reasons and are clean. I mean, we were talking about this with Jim DeMint the other day. Look what Jim DeMint has done. Jim DeMint just stopped the Law of the Sea Treaty. I mean, that’s ‑‑ that’s a pretty amazing thing to do. You can’t take Jim DeMint out because he’s clean. Does he make mistakes from time to time? Sure. Everybody does. But look at what this guy has done. Michele Bachmann is the same way. She’s a good, decent person. May not agree with her all the time, but she’s a good, decent woman. And she is standing and she’s on the intelligence committee. Rarely do I get calls from Michele Bachmann. But when I do, they’re always important. And she has called me a few times and lately it’s been about the Muslim Brotherhood because I’ve been ‑‑ I’ve been talking to people in Washington D.C. and saying, “Hey, what’s the deal with the Muslim Brotherhood thing? Are we looking into this?” Michele called me this morning and she said, “Glenn, there are decent people up on the Hill that are trying to expose the Muslim Brotherhood and it is spreading. This disease is spreading so rapidly, it is breathtaking.” This goes to a documentary that we did about, what, four months ago, three months ago where we exposed what this president is doing with the Muslim Brotherhood and how it is infiltrating all levels. And we’re at a place now that if we don’t stop it, we’re approaching a point of no return. And they are purging everything from our military, from our FBI. So we’re not even teaching what the Muslim Brotherhood stands for. We’re not teaching what radical Islam even is. So how are you ever going to find it? How are you ever going to recognize it? It’s out of control.

The inspectors general were asked a few questions by a few members of congress. Michele Bachmann is here to talk about it and this is important. I beg you to listen because the elephant media and Drudge, Fox, have come out on the wrong side on this issue. They are following John McCain’s lead. It’s the wrong lead. And if you’re not there to back these people up, they’re going to be eaten by CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Michele Bachmann, welcome to the program.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Glenn, thank you so much. What an important topic, and I have to say that you and the people at The Blaze have been leading the pack on this. And thank you for the wonderful documentary that you’ve done because the influence today of the Muslim Brotherhood at the highest levels, from the White House, to the Pentagon, to the FBI, even to our United States military truly is breathless and people have to know about it.

GLENN: Okay. So tell me what happened. You and who else wrote a letter to the inspectors general’s office and said, “There are some questions here that need to be addressed.”

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s right. It was three members of the intelligence committee: Myself, Lynn Westmoreland from Georgia, Tom Rooney from Florida and two members of the judiciary committee, Trent Franks of Arizona and Louie Gohmert of Texas all signed onto a letter. We asked numerous questions of the federal government because a letter was sent ‑‑ well, let me just back up. After the Fort Hood tragedy, a report was issued that said the real problem in our government is that we are not teaching FBI agents or our military to recognize radical Islam. So that’s what we need to do. We need to teach about it.

Well, in response to that, 50 ‑‑ over 50 Muslim organizations wrote a letter requesting that the White House start a task force to stop that from happening. Five days after the White House got this letter, this October 19th letter ‑‑ and people can see it on my website, or maybe you have it on The Blaze ‑‑ five days after the White House got this letter from the 50 Muslim groups, they started the purge of the federal government. Let me tell you, the federal government doesn’t do anything in five days. But they started the purge of the FBI. So now the FBI, who are supposed to be trained in radical Islam, elements have been purged off their training materials so they are no longer being taught about what radical Islam is in order to be able to truly identify it ahead of time. This is serious. This is also happening throughout our United States military, Department of Justice, and Homeland Security. And the word “purge” isn’t my word. That’s the word used by the 50 Muslim organizations. They demanded that the president purge the training materials and the trainers. And so already people have been fired who formerly were teaching what radical Islam is. They’ve been fired or they’ve been reassigned. And they ask that the library be purged. Americans don’t purge libraries, but they demanded that the FBI’s library be purged. All of this was happening and so we wrote a letter to the inspectors general asking the question: Don’t you think you should look into the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and what it is they’re seeking to do.

GLENN: Okay. So you write this, which is your job.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s our duty.

GLENN: Your duty to protect and defend the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s right.

GLENN: There is no question in any sane person’s mind that the Muslim Brotherhood ‑‑ I mean, look at this ‑‑ look at this guy who ran and won the presidency in Egypt. He says, “Oh, I’m a moderate. I’m a moderate.” As soon as he wins, it’s Sharia law, we’re going down, you know, death for Allah is our highest goal. It’s the all the same crap. So ‑‑

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: And they call for Jerusalem to become Egypt’s capital, not Israel’s capital. They call for the demise of Israel and the demise of the United States. They believe in civilization, jihad, which is to come into the United States and subvert the United States from within. I know it sounds like radical stuff, but all you have to do is look ‑‑ right, just look at the Muslim Brotherhood and who they say they are.

GLENN: Okay. So when you wrote this letter, then Keith Ellison comes out. And Keith Ellison is ‑‑ he has a record of being the Mafia hitman.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Well, he has a long record of being associated with CAIR and with the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR is an unindicted co‑conspirator, as stated in the large terrorist financing case that we’ve had in the United States of America and so he came out and essentially wanted to shut down the inspectors general from even looking into any of the questions that we were asking. So he wanted to shut it down. In response I wrote another letter back to Keith Ellison, a 16‑page letter which I would encourage all of your listeners to go and read this letter. It’s what I call a bulletproof letter. I have 59 footnotes with one example after another of the penetration of the Muslim Brotherhood into the federal government. One of the most recent is so outrageous, it’s hard to believe. Two weeks ago the State Department broke its own law, like I said, and let a foreign terrorist come into the United States, into the White House, meet with the National Security Council ‑‑

GLENN: Listen to this.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: ‑‑ and demand the release of the blind Sheik. This is absolutely outrageous.

GLENN: There’s more to this story that I think is even more outrageous. Not only did they break their own laws, give this guy a special waiver, bring him into the White House. This is a guy who is a known ‑‑ part of a known terrorist organization. He then campaigns to have the blind sheikh released, but who pays for his airline ticket?

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: We do. The taxpayers. What I want to know is did we upgrade him to first class. I mean, this is ‑‑ this is outrageous what has happened. And so then now what’s happened is the attack machine has been turned on myself and the other members of congress who have been asking the questions, that somehow we’re the Muslim haters, we’re the witch‑hunters, we’re the new Joe McCarthyites because we’re asking these questions. All the while two weeks ago the Obama administration breaks federal law to bring someone that we list on the State Department as a terrorist organization, a member of that terrorist organization, we bring him into the White House? You don’t get any higher when it comes to intelligence secrets, you don’t get any higher than the National Security Council. He sits down with the National Security Council in our White House and has the guts to demand that we release one of the worst, most violent terrorists that we have behind bars. He wants us to let him out of prison, to let him go free, the guy who was the mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the blind sheikh.

GLENN: So let’s ‑‑

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: And you don’t hear a peep about this.

GLENN: No, of course not. Let me ‑‑ let me take you here because one of the more controversial things is you say Anthony Weiner’s wife will is ‑‑ has connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. Now, this is important because she works for Hillary Clinton.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: She is the chief aid for the ‑‑ to the Secretary of State, and we quoted from a document, and this has been well reported all across Arab media, that her father ‑‑ her late father who’s now deceased was a part of the Muslim Brotherhood. Her brother was a part of the Muslim Brotherhood, and her mother was a part of what’s called the Muslim Sisterhood. It would be, we have requirements to get a high level security clearance. One thing that the government looks at are your associations, and in particular your family associations. And this applies to everyone. It would be the same that is true with me. If my family members were associated with Hamas, a terrorist organization, that alone could be sufficient to disqualify me from getting a security clearance. So all we did is ask, did the federal government look into her family associations before she got a high level security clearance.

GLENN: And it’s not an unreasonable thing to ask seeing that this president and this administration has ‑‑ didn’t know ‑‑ apparently didn’t know that Van Jones was the founding ‑‑ one of the founding members of a radical revolutionary, anti‑American, Communist organization, and he’s in the White House.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s right. That’s right, and it’s not ‑‑

GLENN: So something is ‑‑ somebody’s dropping the ball some place, or somebody knows.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s right. And somebody has been dropping the ball since the beginning of the Obama administration. And this isn’t intent to be partisan or out to get the president. I mean, quite honestly on the intelligence committee I’m happy to report we are the most bipartisan committee I’ve ever been a part of, and with all of these unprecedented leaks that have been coming out from our federal government, all of which, by the way, undermine Israel, and Israel’s ability to defend herself against a nuclear Iran, we are with one voice, Democrat and Republican, outraged by these leaks that are coming out of the administration. Never before in the history of the country have we seen this level of leaks coming out, but at the same time there’s also a parallel track of influence from the Muslim Brotherhood in the highest levels of the federal government, and we think that we need to get answers to these questions. And that’s the purpose of our letters. We’re asking that the inspectors general answer these questions, and Keith Ellison is trying to shut this, these questions down from getting addressed.

GLENN: I’m really tight on time and I want to hit a couple of other things. Stu’s got ‑‑ Stu’s been going over all of this information, and he’s got one question for you.

STU: Well, I see here that you did like, too, the actual military document that talks about what is a potentially disqualifying condition for security clearance. It says, quote: Contact with a foreign family member, if that contact creates a heightened risk of foreign exploitation, inducement, manipulation, pressure or coercion. Then goes on to say the subject’s closest and most frequent contacts are the ones most likely to present a security risk. And you’re talking about both her father, who’s now deceased, her mother and her brother. So I think the media seems to be holding you to this standard that you have to have this case completely proven when it seems like what you’re saying is, is there a legitimate process question: Are they actually asking these questions before handing out these clearances.

GLENN: Right. This has been ‑‑ I mean, your links and your footnotes ‑‑ and they’re down, by the way. I don’t know if you know that, Michele. But the Al‑Jazeera links that you put in and you said, here, go link ‑‑ go find the story on Al‑Jazeera. We can’t get to them this morning.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Oh, really?

GLENN: Oh, yeah. We’re going to need ‑‑

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Gosh. Maybe we can go ‑‑ maybe we can go in the past and dig them up so that we can resurrect them.

GLENN: Yeah, we’re going to have to get them because they’ve either been scrubbed or they’re being hammered, you know, by so much traffic which I highly doubt.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Heavens.

GLENN: So that’s ‑‑ I mean, you have links showing that in Al‑Jazeera’s own coverage.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Well, these links were up as of last Friday.

GLENN: Yeah, well, they’re not ‑‑

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: I wrote the letter and we got it out by midnight last Friday night and the links were up last Friday. So they’ve taken them down. Gee.

GLENN: I will tell you that that’s not unusual. As we’ve followed these stories like this, that’s really not unusual anymore.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s even more reason why we should be looking into this.

GLENN: Yeah. Let me just say this to you and then one more quick question. I just wrote a letter to the president of my company for The Blaze and he’s in charge of all content. He’s kind of our news, you know, our uber news director, if you will, he’s the president of content. And I just said we know the truth on this story. We’ve had this for a while. I do not want this company to sit down on this. So we are going to cover this and continue to cover this to make sure that people hear this story because, Michele, you guys are absolutely right and it is a matter of national survival.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s right.

GLENN: Let me ask you ‑‑

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: National security.

GLENN: Let me ask you one quick question. John McCain and all of the elephant media are falling right in line with the Muslim Brotherhood. Bullcrap. What did John McCain do yesterday?

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: He went on the Senate floor and he gave a spirited defense of Huma Abedin, who is a friend of his. And so that’s what he did and I think ‑‑

GLENN: But you’re not saying that she is compromised? You’re saying have we looked into this, right?

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: That’s right. That’s all we’re saying because we did not infer that she is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood or that she’s working on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood.

GLENN: Right.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: And did she have to go through the same sort of process that anyone else has to go to. Did they check the boxes. Because if the State Department breaks American law to bring a terrorist into the White House, a member of a terrorist organization, it certainly is conceivable that maybe they looked the other way on issuing the security clearance. That’s all we’re doing is asking a question.

GLENN: I have to tell you, we’re at war. We’re at war with people in the Middle East, and her ‑‑ she’s compromised ‑‑ forget about the Muslim thing. She’s compromised or could have been compromised. Her husband was sending dirty photos of himself. I mean, you know, in a wartime, you would never put that person in a delicate situation because the family has already been compromised. But I digress.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: Well, and ‑‑

GLENN: Thank you very much. Go ahead.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: I was just going to say the Muslim Brotherhood elements have declared war against the United States.

GLENN: All right.

CONGRESSWOMAN BACHMANN: ‑‑ and Israel. And we need to recognize that they are at war, even if we don’t fully, are onto this. And we’ve got to, but I thank you and everyone at The Blaze for taking this on because the media has a completely different view of it. So thank you.

Econonomic Sabotage? A Case for the FBI? Occupy Wall Street and the Cuban Connection

Occupy Wall Street and its hundreds of offshoots, cost the U.S. hundreds of millions of dollars in a few short months. Cleanup costs, police overtime, lost and disrupted production and countless smaller issues hit cash strapped communities at a time they could least afford it.

If, as some (including myself) predict, the movement expands and becomes better organized and more violent next Spring and Summer, the costs could become astronomical.

If you were an enemy of the U.S., a hostile power intent on bringing America to its knees, would you like to see this movement grow? Maybe even help it along a little? There is some evidence that one country has been doing just that.

That country is Cuba.

The O.W.S. movement got more than a little attention at a recent Cuban sponsored convention of communist led labor unions in Tijuana, Mexico.

The 8th U.S./Cuba/Mexico Latin American Labor Conference took place in Tijuana, Baja California, within sight of the U.S. border, December 2-4., 2011.

Speakers included several high ranking Cuban officials, including Heriberto González del Valle, a professor at the Lázaro Peña National School for Union Cadres in Havana, Dr. Raymundo Navarro Fernández, member of the Secretariat of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba and Cuban Gilda Chacón, representing the formerly Soviet controlled international communist front World Federation of Trade Unions.

At the meeting, João Batista of the Central dos Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras do Brasil stated that “that the Occupy movement has brilliantly shown the world that “U.S. imperialism” also affects the 99 percent at home.”

Certainly “Occupy” was on the conference agenda. Detroit activist and former conference organizer Cheryl LaBash, wrote in a November 5 article in Worker’s World, the publication of the militantly pro-Cuban Worker’s World Party:

Where is the electrifying Occupy Wall Street movement headed? From capitalist media pundits to the Occupy Wall Street encampments struggling to hold public space in countless cities and towns across the U.S., this question is bubbling underneath the daily actions and police repression.

An opportunity to discuss the experience of other such movements will take place just across the U.S. border from San Diego in Tijuana, Mexico, on Dec. 2 to 4 at the 8th U.S./Cuba/Mexico/Latin America Labor Conference.

It will follow a three-day Workers’ School with instructors from the Lázaro Peña Cadre School in Havana, Cuba.

The “National School for Trade Union Cadres Lazaro Pena” is affiliated with the Cuban Workers Trade Union Central and works with the Cuban office of the World Federation of Trade unions to “train” Caribbean and Latin American labor officials, from its base in Havana.

It is an organ of the ruling Communist Party of Cuba, charged with spreading Castroite doctrine throughout the region, by way of the labor movement.

A key US attendee at the Tijuana conference was Eric A. Gordon, an affiliate of both the Los Angeles Communist Party USA and its front organization, the  Los Angeles Workers’ Center – which is headed by communist and Occupy Los Angeles leader Arturo Cambron.

Occupy “city liason” Mario Brito also has a long Communist Party record, as do several others in the organization.

Communist Party members have played leading roles in the “Occupy” movement well beyond Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, October 11, 2011, the Communist Party held a national teleconference to discuss the “Occupy Movement,” which by then had spread to 200 cities. Arturo Cambron, of the Communist Party and Occupy Los Angeles was the key speaker on the call:

Southern California Party leader Arturo Cambron will share how the CPUSA and Young Communist League (YCL) are working in “Occupy Los Angeles.”

This movement, also known as the “99% movement,” is being hailed across the country. Movements and organizations are reaching out in solidarity. The AFL-CIO is opening union halls and offering other material assistance. Ordinary people are donating food, money and materials.

A big challenge for the CPUSA and left, progressive movements is to link these demonstrations with the labor led all-people’s coalition and help deepen understanding that the path to progress must be through electoral and political action including defeating Republican Tea Party reaction in 2012.

We can also play a role in offering more advanced programmatic ideas like nationalizing the banks and socialism.To have a positive impact, the CPUSA and YCL must be a part of the “Occupy” movement, participating at every level and building greater local support for the actions among labor and progressive forces.

Connecticut activist Lisa Bergmann gave a report on behalf of the Young Communist League USA to a gathering of another international communist front, the World Federation of Democratic Youth, in Lisbon, Portugal, November 1-3. Bergmann praised the O.W.S. movement and explicitly linked it to the campaign to re-elect President Barack Obama.

The Young Communist League USA stands firmly, as it always has, united with all of you against U.S. imperialism, greed, and war…

Inspired by the “Arab Spring” and other youth movements in Europe and Latin America, the Occupy Wall Street Movement began in the heart of the U.S. capitalist system, and has now spread to more than 300 cities in the United States. ..

The labor movement in the U.S. has been one of the strongest allies to the Occupy movement. Other participants in the Occupy movement include peace activist groups, veterans, elected officials, immigrant rights groups, and of course the Communist Party and the Young Communist League! The Young Communist League, even though we are in a re-building phase, has participated in Occupy in every city where we exist, and has even initiated the Occupy chapters in some cities. Leaders of the Young Communist League and leaders of the Communist party have been arrested in Chicago on two separate occasions during police raids on the Occupy movement.

Finally, I will speak briefly about the 2012 elections in the U.S. The election of Obama in 2008 was a tremendous victory for the people of the United States and indeed for people all over the world. ..

That said, the fight for jobs and for real solutions MUST include re-electing Obama in 2012. It is the role of the YCL to emphasize this wherever we go, and to try to push youth in the Occupy movement and elsewhere who do not want to work with any politicians to understand that being absent from the political process is only allowing the ultra-right wing to build power… Angela Davis, when visiting Occupy Wall Street on October 31st, said that “It is up to US to build a movement. And it is up to Obama to respond to that movement. But he cannot do it on his own.

The Worker’s World Party also plays a big role in Occupy Los Angeles and other movements across the country from Michigan to New York. W.W.P. member Mike Martinez, also a participant in the Tijuana Conference, explained his party’s strong role in Occupy Los Angeles in a November 2 article for Worker’s World:

Early in the occupation, many participants opposed an “End Police Brutality Committee” proposed by some people of color because at that time, it was argued, “there has not been any police brutality at Occupy L.A.” At one point Mejicano activists who argued against the police being considered part of the 99 percent were booed by other, mostly white participants.

As  the debate on police brutality grew, however, more and more of the occupiers began to reject the notion that police were friends of Occupy L.A., especially as Boston, Chicago and other city encampments suffered brutal police attacks. This opening cleared the way for the Oct. 12 Coalition Against Police Brutality to march from Occupy L.A. with a good number of supporters. A big program was held on the Pelican Bay Prison hunger strike.

Workers World Party activists participating in the events were able to call for a march in solidarity with the prisoners at the General Assembly, support for which passed by consensus just days before the striker’s demands were met and the strike called off. The WWP members also promoted a film about socialist Cuba, which was shown to all the occupation participants.

WWP members also helped organize another action at local bank offices.When they marched to Wells Fargo Bank just a few blocks away, security quickly scrambled to shut their doors and closed their lobby to the public with barricades. For the protesters, this amounted to a large victory, and they marched through L.A.’s financial district chanting, “Fight the banks, shut them down!” One marcher waved a large portrait of Lenin at the bankers. It was like waving a cross at a vampire. The next day there was also a Karl Marx portrait that read: “99%ers of the world unite!”

Ron Gochez, another Tijuana conference attendee, infamous in Los Angeles for his anti-police activism, created a stir at an occupy Los Angeles demonstration when he made the statement that “police are not part of the 99%.” His remarks were met with jeers from some of the crowd, who tried to shout him down. Later he said, “Although they (cops) might make the money of the 99%, they represent and defend the 1%.”

Martha Grevatt, a member of Detroit’s UAW Local 869 and a W.W.P. organizer, was also in Tijuana.

Grevatt says that considering the anemic job market, there is very little distinction between the labor and Occupy movements. She says autoworkers have responded accordingly. “I work on the auto shop floor, and working people really identify with the fact that people are standing up to the banks,” Grevatt said at a November 6 Detroit rally. “They’re standing up to the bosses, they’re saying no more cutbacks, no more givebacks. We demand jobs.”

Grevatt says union participation has graduated beyond pronouncements and vocal support. “It means everything that labor is involved. There are people who are union members and union leaders who have been camping out, who have been here every day.”

Perhaps the most influential and potentially destructive dangerous Tijuana conference attendee was Clarence Thomas, an ILWU Local 10 Executive Board member, an Oakland California identity and an affiliate of both the Communist Party and, more recently, the W.W.P.

Here is a video of Thomas addressing the Tijuana conference. Thomas invokes the memory of late Communist Party leader Harry Bridges and proudly lays out his plans for mass economic disruption to the assembled comrades.

Clarence Thomas has played a key role in cementing ties between the ultra radical Occupy Oakland movement and the Bay Area’s very strong labor union community.

Thomas was also heavily active in encouraging the November 2 Occupy led shutdown of the Port of Oakland and the December 12, partially successful attempt to shut down every major port on the West Coast, from Alaska to Southern California.

Could Italians have imagined  that the following Draconian    economic measures codified into Italian Law would perhaps be  but a pre cursor to even more onerous  financial woes? Could it happen here?

Since February of 2010, investors around the world have been dumping US Treasuries. Consequently, our Treasury department has been purchasing the shortfall at the auctions to avoid a default. Glenn Beck says that today US Treasuries are being dumped in record numbers while investors continue fleeing the Euro. In the meantime the US is trading dollars for Euros in order to stabilize the European currency. Consequently, we are on the losing end of a financial bubble of monumental proportions.

  • The passing of an extraordinary edict making cash transactions of more than Euro 1,000($1277) illegal (not subject to reporting – just plain illegal). Following Prodi’s own desire, the existing regime has indicated that this level will be progressively reduced to a limit as low as Euro 300($383). Hence cash is maybe for the first time in history no longer legal tender (over Euro 1,000, for now);

 

  • A requirement that credit card companies report all transactions carried out by Italians, in Italy and abroad to the fiscal authorities;

 

  • Delays and refusals by banks in allowing customers to withdraw  cash balances of as little as Euro 10,000;
  • Finance Police have placed cameras at the physical borders with Switzerland to register all license plates. In addition, currency-sniffing dogs have been deployed at the border

By the end of the day today, August 20th, Hamas has fired 80 Missiles into Israel. You will not read much about these attacks in the main stream media. As Israel becomes surrounded by terrorist states intent on wiping her off the face of the earth, Glenn Beck realized the danger to not only Israel but the enire world. Consequently he  planned a Restoring Courage Rally to bring global attention to Israel’s Plight and World Peace.

On August 24th, Glenn Beck’s Restoring Courage Rally will be occuring at the Southern Wall Excavations  in Jerusalem. Glenn has asked people from around the world  who value freedom, honor and faith to stand with him, Israel  and leaders from around the globe with one united voice for Courage and Peace,  MA will also be holding local Rallys in conjunction with Glenn Beck.

In contrast, ” Former President Jimmy Carter earlier this year asked the Obama administration to support Hamas in the Palestinian Authority. Mr. Carter wrote an article for the Washington Post on May 4th, 2011 “calling on the Obama administration to support the new union between Hamas and Fatah in the Palestinian Authority”.  The following video shows Mr. Carter stating that “Hamas Can Be Trusted”.

Earlier today we brought you the story of how students chained themselves together at a local Tucson school board chamber to protest administrators who wanted to change the Mexican-American studies curriculum. Currently, a class that teaches history from a Mexican-American perspective is allowed to substitute for the required U.S. history class. But the school superintendent also wants to reevaluate the entire program (and possibly get rid of the class),* in part because it advocates the overthrow of the U.S. government.
