Locked & Loaded – Girl Dismantle Gun Control Argument In 3 Minutes! – Wake Up America

April 5, 2013 in "Bill of Rights", 2nd Amendment, America's Collapse, Congress, Gun Control, Obama's America 2016, Politics, President Obama, Progressivism, United States Constitution, United States Sovereignty by admin

agirlANNAPOLIS, Md. –  Maryland’s  already-strong gun laws will become among the strictest in the nation with a  measure passed by the General Assembly Thursday, sending the bill to the  Democratic governor who proposed the legislation in the aftermath of December’s  massacre at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school.

The state Senate voted 28-19 for final passage, agreeing to a number of  changes the House of Delegates approved Wednesday.

The measure would require people who buy a handgun to submit fingerprints to  state police, bans 45 types of assault weapons, and limits gun magazines to 10  bullets. It also addresses firearms access for the mentally ill.

“Together, with a strong coalition of advocates, and the people of Maryland  who overwhelmingly support policies to reduce gun violence, we’ve chosen to take  action by advancing strategies that work to save lives,” Gov. Martin O’Malley  said in a statement after the vote.

Maryland will become the first state in nearly 20 years to require potential  handgun buyers to submit fingerprints to state police. Only five other states  have a similar requirement: Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York and New  Jersey.

Gun control advocates say the fingerprinting requirement will help keep guns  away from criminals, because it will make people reluctant to buy firearms for  those who are not allowed to have them. Opponents say the bill erodes Second  Amendment rights and ultimately penalizes law-abiding citizens without focusing  on lawbreakers.

Although the measure bans 45 types of assault weapons, people who own them  now will be able to keep them. People who order the weapons before Oct. 1, when  the law would take effect, also would be able to keep them.

People who have been involuntarily committed to a mental health facility  won’t be allowed to have a gun.

Critics noted that Maryland already has strong laws, including universal  background checks and a seven-day waiting period to buy a gun. The state doesn’t  even have a loophole allowing for private sales at gun shows without the same  background check that licensed dealers are required to obtain, said Sen. Allan  Kittleman, R-Howard.

Gun Control Debate – CT Lawmakers Agree To Strict Measures – 2nd Amendment At Risk!!

Gun Mandate – GA City Requires Homeowners Be Armed With Firearm & UN Treaty Alert!

UN adopts pact to regulate multibillion-dollar global arms trade
The U.N. General Assembly has overwhelmingly approved the first U.N. treaty  regulating the multibillion-dollar international arms trade.

The resolution adopting the landmark treaty was approved by a vote of 154 to  3 with 23 abstentions.

The 193-member world body voted after Iran, North Korea and Syria blocked its  adoption by consensus at a negotiating conference last Thursday. The three  countries voted “no” on the resolution.

The National Rifle Association has portrayed the draft treaty as a threat to  gun ownership rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and has lobbied to  defeat the proposal at the U.N. The NRA last week praised the Senate’s passage  of an amendment to the Democratic budget proposal that would prevent the U.S.  from entering into the treaty.

Scott Brown Finally Get’s One RIGHT: Strassel’s Wall Street Article ‘Jumping the Sequester’

March 8, 2013 in Economic Deception, Economy, Obama-Nomics, Politics, President Obama, Scott Brown, Sequestration, The Stakes for the 2014 Election by Admin1

Brown- StrasselFinally we hear Scott Brown hitting a home run on Sequestration.  He rightly points out that Barack Hussein Obama conceived and created  Sequestration. While he was still serving in the Senate, the leaders Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell both told him that Sequestration would never happen!

Jon Scott: And here we are with the White House closed to school kids The Administration can’t find a better way to save a couple of bucks?

Scott Brown: Listen, the bottom line is the Republicans have offered, and it makes common sense that the president should have what is called “Transfer Authority”.  The ability to get in there and Kind of reopen and tweak the Sequester in a whole, and actually delegate  – do thoughtful, judicious, methodical cuts. For example in the military, they need that. Give it to Heigl.  Let him go in with a fine tooth-comb,  no a scalpel I should say, to make the cuts that you need to make.

The President does not want this authority [“Transfer Authority”] because he wants to make the Republicans look bad. Everybody knows it and it’s time to show real leadership.”

Strassel: Jumping the Sequester

By KIMBERLEY A. STRASSEL

When the president canceled White House tours, he revealed his claims as ludicrous.

The phrase “jumping the shark” describes that gimmicky moment when something once considered significant is exposed as ludicrous. This is the week the White House jumped the sequester.

The precise moment came Tuesday, when the administration announced that it was canceling public tours of the White House, blaming budget cuts.

The Sequesterer in Chief has insisted that cutting even $44 billion from this fiscal year will cause agonizing pain—airport security snarls, uninspected meat, uneducated children. Since none of those things has come to pass, the White House decided it needed an immediate and high-profile way of making its point. Ergo, it would deny the nation’s school kids a chance to view a symbol of America.

The act was designed to spark outrage against Republicans, yet the sheer pettiness of it instead provided a moment of clarity. Americans might not understand the technicalities of sequester, but this was something else entirely. Was the president actually claiming there was not a single other government item—not one—that could be cut instead of the White House tours? Really?

The cancellations were an open invitation for the nation to dive into the gory depths of the federal budget—and re-emerge with a debate over waste and priorities. Over the past week, an entire cottage industry has sprung up of journalists, watchdog groups and average citizens reporting on the absurdities of federal spending. Republicans have lit up Twitter with examples of indefensible projects (#SequesterThis).

We’ve learned that the White House employs three calligraphers, who cumulatively earn $277,000 a year. The Environmental Protection Agency gave $141,000 to fund a Chinese study on swine manure. Part of a $325,000 National Science Foundation outlay went to building a robotic squirrel.

The government gave a $3,700 grant to build a miniature street in West Virginia—out of Legos. It shelled out $500,000 to support specialty shampoo products for cats and dogs. A San Diego outfit got $10,000 for trolley dancing. The feds last year held 894 conferences that each cost more than $100,000—$340 million altogether. But Mr. Obama is too broke to let American kids look around the White House.

Related Video Available at WSJ Online

Columnist Kim Strassel on how the world did and will not end because of sequester.

Speaking of that, the tour stunt itself is turning into a PR fiasco. ABC reports the cancellations save a total of $18,000 a week. A Forbes opinion piece noted the cost of cutting the tours was equal to about two hours operating Air Force One. Speaker John Boehner twisted the knife, announcing that while Congress was also getting hit by sequester, it had planned wisely, and tours of the Capitol would continue. Come on down folks! Visit the government branch that knows how to prioritize!

To top it off, a group of cherubic sixth-graders from St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Waverly, Iowa, became a national sensation in a YouTube video pleading with the White House to reopen tours. “The White House is our house. Please let us visit,” they beg in unison. The White House hasn’t yet responded, no doubt being too busy overseeing its $27 million project that helped fund pottery classes in Morocco. (No joke.)

This is the opportunity Republicans have been pushing for, to pivot the sequester discussion to the problem of spending, and they are taking a lead from Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn. This was the guy, remember, who in 2005 offered an amendment to remove funds from a little thing he called the Alaskan “Bridge to Nowhere” and to divert them to a vital bridge destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The Bridge to Nowhere became such an embarrassing symbol of waste, Congress ultimately gave up earmarks.

Not all Republicans appreciated that episode, but they took away a couple of valuable political lessons. One, the public responds strongly to examples of waste. And two, the way to claim the high ground in such a debate is to contrast that waste with projects of real importance (like the Katrina bridge). Both lessons are tailor-made for today’s sequester fight.

Sen. Coburn himself has daily been sending letters to federal agencies, demanding that they justify their decisions to furlough existing workers rather than forgo new hires or fancy conferences. His efforts were one reason the Department of Agriculture spent this week stuttering out a justification for its sponsorship of a wine junket in California.

Utah Sen. Mike Lee has been producing graphics that show, for instance, pictures of free government cellphones next to pictures of border agents—with the Twitter tag #CutThisNotThat. Since late February, the House GOP has been highlighting its own #CutWaste projects, each of which contrasts Mr. Obama’s call for taxes with an example of embarrassing government outlays.

The White House’s shark-jumping moment has given these efforts new attention and threatens to take the sequester debate to a place this overconfident administration never imagined. The whole point of the White House’s effort to make the cuts hurt was to convince Americans that they couldn’t live without big, sweeping government. Now Americans are asking how the White House justifies living with it.

Rampant EBT Welfare Fraud Ignored by Gov. Patrick So as to not Alienate His Illicit Voter Base

January 7, 2013 in Deval Patrick, MA, MA Political Machine, Politics, Voter Fraud, Welfare, Welfare Fraud by Admin1

We  have recently learned that Gov. Patrick’s Department of Transitional  Assistance (DTA) sent out voter registration letters to 500,000 welfare recipients in early August 2012. The DTA likely only provided a limited legal defense against the lawsuit pushed thru by Elizabeth Warren’s daughter, in association with New England United for Justice, whose purpose was to register welfare recipients at government expense.New England United for Justice  is a reconstituted offshoot of the now defunct corrupt voter manipulation group, Association of Community Organizers for Reform otherwise known as ACORN.

As a result of the the taxpayer supported Democrat welfare voter registration drive, 19,000 letters were returned as undeliverable.  The cunning Deval  and DTS did not broach the subject either during or after the election. Neither would they release the information when the Herald learned of the deception and originally requested the information.  It took a Freedom of Information Request from the Herald to uncover the fraud. Deval  attempted to skirt disclosure of the EBT Welfare fraud and  Stonewall the public’s right to know, in order to  protect a  vital Democrat State party voting bloc.  These 19,000 welfare cheats  are  continuing to receive illicit benefits because Deval says that DTS  doesn’t have the means  to track or to stop the payments.

Just these  19,000 welfare cheats alone account for about 1/5 of our states mid -year 2013 Deficit.

Shaunna O'Connel

Had enough yet? You can do something about this if you call your Senators, Representatives and especially the Governor’s office and tell them you want REAL  EBT Welfare Reform and want them to pass Representative Shaunna O’Connell’s (R-Tauton) EBT Reform Bill, which she has once again filed this month.

You can’t ‘scrub’ up EBT mess with a dirty rag

Jan 6, 2013
By   Howie Carr / Boston Herald

Another day, another 19,000 anecdotes.

Anecdote — that’s Gov. Deval Patrick’s favorite word to describe any scandal involving EBT cards and his constituents. It doesn’t matter how solid the information is, how many law-enforcement agencies are involved in the takedown, he always shrugs off the latest rip-off of the taxpayers.

Anecdote.

And now he’s looking at another 19,000 of them — that 4 percent of the welfare community that the Department of Transitional Assistance (a name that grows ever more preposterous) could not locate.

Those 19,000 MIA’s collect — based on an average of $400 a month — $91 million a year. That’s the estimate of Rep. Shauna O’Connell (R-Taunton). But the governor Friday went into his best pooh-pooh mode.

“That may not be indicative of a problem,” he said with a straight face. “We’ll know when we do the scrubbing.”

Scrubbing? More like a sponge bath would be my guess. This is a program that needs a good cold shower. But the governor, himself a former welfare recipient, recommends … nothing, basically. Call it professional courtesy.

Let’s not forget how the “scrubbing” began. Granny Warren’s daughter filed a lawsuit claiming the DTA hadn’t been proactive enough in registering the state’s assorted loafers and layabouts to vote for her carpetbagging fake-Indian mom. Then — bingo, the hacks located $274,000 for mailings, complete with post-paid envelopes for the gimme girls and guys to send back their voter registrations.

Have you ever gotten a post-paid envelope from the commonwealth? No, I didn’t think so. They’re not for taxpayers, just for the non-working classes to take part in a Democratic voter-registration drive.

The Patrick administration has known about these appalling EBT numbers for months now. They were only released after this newspaper filed a Freedom of Information Act request. Which is the same way it was revealed that Lt. Gov. Tim Murray was doing 108 mph when he mysteriously crashed his state vehicle in November 2011.

So much for transparency at the State House.

It takes months for a law-abiding citizen to get a gun permit in this state. But if you sign up for welfare with a fake name or address, no problemo. Nobody ever checks up, apparently.

When Rudy Giuliani was elected mayor of New York in 1993, he insisted that all welfare recipients show up in person to renew their applications. A quarter of the “recipients” never appeared. It’s hard to respond to a letter if you don’t really exist.

I know, that’s just an “anecdote.” So here’s one more. Years ago when the transit cops in New York and New Jersey started busting fare-jumpers, they made an astounding discovery. A quarter — there’s that number again — of those arrested were carrying welfare cards from both New York and New Jersey. In other words, they were collecting in two states.

And now the Mass. welfare rolls will get a “scrubbing” — wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Here’s what really matters to Deval and his gang of plunderers. On Thursday, as soon as the successor to the outgoing watchdog of the Governor’s Council, Mary-Ellen Manning, was sworn in, the governor nominated Mary Beth Heffernan for a judgeship.

Yes, that Mary Beth Heffernan, probably the worst public-safety secretary in state history. Too incompetent to properly broom Tim Murray’s auto accident or Annie Dookhan or the Sheila Burgess bad-driving fiasco, so they give her early retirement on the bench for $130,000 a year.

Taking care of dodgy old hacks, that’s what Deval et al. are about, not cleaning up the disaster that is the welfare state.

By the way, I still haven’t heard back from Deval on my generous offer to provide him with one hour per month on my radio talk show to explain how wonderful he and his administration are.

Governor, the offer stands.

Suggested first topic: scrubbing.

Deval Patrick Eyed to Succeed Barack Hussein Obama

November 30, 2012 in Deval Patrick, MA, Political Deception, Political Machine, Politics, Presidential Candidates, Socialist by Admin1

Folks get ready for another carpetbagger to make a run for the White House from MA. Deval has probably spent more time at the White House and on the campaign trail for Barack than he has spent on MA soil and he embraces the same ideology.

Will he be Barack’s Surrogate in 2016?

Could you imagine him as our Commander-in-Chief? If his Administrations patronage appointment of  a drunken menace, Shelia  Burgess to  MA Highway Safety Director is any indication, he will do just fine. Besides, the lack of any record or paper trail for her patronage appointment, shows that he is competent to follow Barack because he mastered the art of deniability and obfuscation.

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Governor Deval Patrick says state officials followed proper protocol in destroying some of the record related to the hiring of former Highway Safety Director Sheila Burgess.

Read more: http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/20220340/2012/11/29/gov-patrick-officials-followed-protocol-in-destroying-former-safety-directors-records#ixzz2Di0nADcs

While he was in Washigton and campaigning for Barack around thecountry , his State Police Crime Lab chemist was busy doctoring over 34,000 lab investigations that have resulted in placing hardened criminals back on our streets.  H’mmm, I wonder who may have appointed her?

The Governor is being called on to fire the “Highway Safety” Director because her driving record is worse than a drunk’s. Her driving record has 34 entries since 1982, and her license was “nonrenewable” until November 1st because of a failure to pay local excise taxes. The Telegram reported:

“Three Republican state representatives from Central Massachusetts yesterday called on Gov. Deval L. Patrick and Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray to fire Sheila Burgess, the state’s highway safety director, whom The Boston Globe reported has a driving record that includes seven accidents, four speeding violations, and two failures to stop for a police officer.”

It turns out she was only in that position because of political favors. She used to work as a fundraiser for U.S. Congressman James McGovern, a Democrat from Worcester, and she also was a principal in a firm that worked for Massachusetts’ current Democratic governor Patrick when he was a candidate for mayor about 10 years ago. For this reason, the three Republican state representatives are also calling on the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight to investigate the Governor’s administration for patronage.

Deval Patrick for President 2016!!!

By: oldtownyankee (Diary)  |  November 24th, 2012 at 03:19 PM  |

Well folks, before you laugh his name is being tossed around by the secular progressive left up here in Massachusetts as well as other bastions of secular progressivism as an encore to Barrack Hussein Obama! Moreover, he and Obama are cut from the very same piece of cloth, know each other very well, speak the same language and embrace the destruction of the Constitutions as we know it.

Patrick was the author of the famed “Yes we can” chant that Obama adopted in 2008. Patrick’s name has surfaced on numerous occasions as being in line for a cabinet position in the Obama administration. Just recently Patrick granted children of illegal immigrants in state tuition dovetailing off of the executive order that Obama handed down last summer where by children of illegal’s shall not be deported. Patrick sighted that order in his executive order.

Best yet, Deval Patrick, once he got going would make Barrack Obama look and sound like William F. Buckley! This guy is a “Moon Bats Moon Bat”. The left loves him, the papers fawn over him, conservatives loath him and the day that he throws his hat into the ring, he has a better than 50% chance of being the next President.

Would Patrick not start out by being the prohibitive favorite in all the blue states that Obama won? Wouldn’t the upper Midwest go for Patrick i.e. Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa without much of a fight? If Obama could win Colorado and Nevada in this economy, would not Patrick do the same four years from now? How about Florida and Virginia? Won’t they have even more government dependants and minorities by 2016?  Who needs Ohio?

Barrack Obama proved beyond any doubt, if nothing else, that its not the reality of the state of the Union, the reality of the economy, our influence in the world or lack there of but what the uninformed voter’s perception of the aforementioned is. So Patrick could and will deliver the same type of message that Obama did and all indications are it could very well work again.

Just look around. The United States of America is wallowing the worst recovery ever helped in large part by the Obama’s administrations policies. We have subjugated our foreign policy to the UN. We have no energy policy. The family as the bedrock of society is eroding further yet. Jobs are very few and getting worse as more of our manufacturing goes over seas, with no end in sight. Nothing is working and everything is either stalled, going backwards or barely creeping along. Yet in spite of all this, if one looks at Obama’s job performance, it will be at better than 50%. If we are to believe the print media a vast plurality of Americans think he’s just great.

Republicans and Taxes

False congressional fiscal conservatives begin to reveal their true selves.

Andrew Napolitano | November 29, 2012

When President Obama won re-election last month by a larger margin than even his most fervent supporters had expected, though with fewer popular votes than he received in 2008, most commentators initially opined that not much had changed in Washington. The president would remain in the White House for another four years, the Democrats would keep control of the Senate, and the House would stay in Republican hands. Most Republicans re-elected to both houses of Congress had publicly pledged not to vote to raise taxes under any circumstances. And most of those Republicans have adhered to that promise—until now.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the false congressional fiscal conservatives in the Republican Party began to reveal their true selves. Led by the Republican presidential standard bearer in 2008, Arizona Sen. John McCain, at least a half-dozen Republican members of Congress have renounced their public promises never to vote to raise taxes. In the case ofC Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., Congressman and Senator-elect Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., and Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., they had restated their promises, directly or indirectly, as recently as last month during their successful campaigns. Did they blatantly dupe the voters?  Did they genuinely change their minds? Did they ever sincerely accept the pro-freedom anti-tax logic?

The Founders certainly embraced the pro-freedom anti-tax logic, as they gave us a Constitution that barred the federal government from imposing any direct tax on any persons. That was part of the genius of the document. If the feds really needed cash, they’d need to tax the states. If the states were feeling over-taxed, they could block federal taxes in the Senate, where for 135 years senators were chosen by state governments as delegates to the Senate, rather than elected by voters. This procedure, too, was part of the Founders’ genius. It came about in order to assure a place at the federal table for the states, many of which were older than the federal government and all of which retained their sovereignty when they voluntarily joined the union. This procedure for choosing senators was also a check on the growth of the federal government.

Those constitutional provisions were cast aside during the progressive era about 100 years ago, when, during a period of just five years, the Constitution was amended so that the states lost their place at the federal table and Congress could tax incomes, and the feds got a new printing press for cash in the form of the Federal Reserve.

I have described this dreadful time in our history in my new book, Theodore and Woodrow: How Two American Presidents Destroyed Constitutional Freedom. They did so by inverting the concept of limited government. With the exception of Abraham Lincoln, every president from George Washington to TR’s predecessor, William McKinley, accepted the truism that the federal government is one of limited powers, and it may only in engage in behavior that is specifically authorized by the Constitution or reasonably inferable therefrom.

Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, who ran against each other and who hated each other, turned this value on its head. They jointly argued that the Constitution does not mean what it says and is not the Supreme Law of the Land as it states. They held that the federal government can do whatever it wishes unless those wishes are expressly prohibited by the Constitution.

For 100 years, the Republican Party resisted the progressive onslaught. As recently as this past election just a few weeks ago, Republicans argued that increased tax revenue, whether from increased tax rates or from decreased tax deductions, effectively moves wealth from the productive sector and delivers it to the consuming sector—which would be the government.

This argument is really one of the basic laws of economics, so why are Republicans now rejecting it? I suspect that they are drunk with power and have concluded that they—just like Obama did—can assure their re-elections, their continued possession of governmental power, if they deliver bigger pieces of the federal pie to the folks back home. Stated differently, they are unwilling to address a system that soon will deliver more in entitlement payments and interest payments on government debt than it collects in revenue by reducing the entitlements, shrinking the government, cutting the debt, returning to the confines of the Constitution and letting hardworking Americans retain what is theirs. Instead, they now want to raise federal taxes.

They would be unwise to try to pull this off—and would be wise to recall recent history. The last Republican president to pledge “Read my lips. NO NEW TAXES” and then violate that promise was dispatched by the voters to a hotel suite in Houston, rather than to four more years in the White House. I bet George Herbert Walker Bush today would stick to his pledge.

30 States Residents Petition To Secede From The Union!

Citizens in over 30 states have so far started petitions at the White House “We the People” website seeking permission to secede from the Union. The number is more than double what we reported Monday morning. Two competing petitions seeking deportation and exile of everyone who signed the petitions have also appeared.

The states now include California, Kansas, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Alaska, Ohio and Delaware. California, Ohio and Delaware voted for Obama in the recent election.   The White House web site is not the only place where such petitions are showing up.   “A massive number of petitions are currently circulating on Change.org, a website designed to call for action by the federal government or by private institutions on particular causes, calling for particular states to be granted permission to secede,” The Blaze reported Monday. als)

Mitt The Mild: Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, And Deficits, Deficits, Deficits, Lose, Lose, Lose

November 12, 2012 in 2012 Election, Don Feder, Mitt Romney, Politics, President Obama by Admin1

By Don Feder

How do you blow an election when your opponent presided over the worst economy in memory – unemployment has hovered at 8% for almost four years; the price of gas has doubled; the national debt has grown by a third; long-term unemployment is up 87%; the number of Americans in poverty increased by 6.4 million; and the president’s signature initiative (Obamacare) has been consistently opposed by a majority of Americans since it passed two and a half years ago?

How do you lose an election to an incumbent whose foreign policy consists of cringing, kowtowing and abject apologies a foreign policy defined by the body of an American ambassador being dragged through the streets of a Third World sinkhole?

How do you manage to screw up a presidential campaign two years after your party sweeps into power in the House of Representatives with the largest majority in over 60 years and takes most of the swing-state governorships? How do you engineer such a catastrophe with one of the greatest populist movements in American history the Tea Parties at your back?

Every time conservatives let the Republican establishment pick our presidential candidate, we lose: Gerald Ford in 1976, George H.W. Bush in 1992, Dole in 1996 and McCain in 2008.

The GOP elite believes it has a God-given right to bestow the party’s presidential nomination as it thinks best, while the role of the conservative activist base is to respectfully touch our forelocks and fall in line. It favors candidates who are committed to being non-controversial, who live in abject fear of offending the mushy middle, who confine disagreements with their opponents to economic issues and me-too furiously elsewhere. The results are predictable. The result is Mitt Romney.

Governor Romney is a decent man, a patriot with a nice family who knows how to create jobs. As a candidate, he was unimaginative, uninspiring and pathetically adverse to taking risks.

Romney resolutely refused to talk about anything but the economy. At its convention, the GOP nodded respectfully toward God and said nice things about life and marriage in its platform.

But when the campaign began in earnest after Labor Day, it was all jobs, jobs, jobs, deficits, deficits and deficits. (The high cost of energy got an honorable mention.) Romney was maniacal about staying on message. When Benghazi exploded in the president’s face, the Romney camp outsourced the issue to talk radio. That’s not leadership.

Incredibly, exit polls showed more voters trusted Obama to handle a foreign crisis than Romney (by 57% to 50%). That’s what comes from the GOP nominee’s refusal to speak frankly about the fiasco.

During the much-hyped Arab Spring, Obama helped turn Egypt over to the Muslim Brotherhood. He gave Libya a government that was either unable or unwilling to control al-Qaeda clones, which Moammar Gadhafi (who must be grinning in hell) did quite effectively.

During the siege of our Benghazi consulate, the White House dithered for seven crucial hours (when the lives of four Americans could have been saved by modest military intervention) for fear of offending the Muslim street — the lodestar of Obama’s foreign policy. The father of one of the dead former Navy SEALs all but accused the president of killing his son.

The administration lied about the nature of the attack for two weeks. Romney could have said: How can you trust a man who misled the American people about what caused a foreign policy disaster which sends a signal of American impotence to our enemies?” But his campaign was terrified of going off-message and fearful of projecting its candidate as a warmonger, so it said as little as possible. It was a thousand times worse than McCain giving Obama a pass on Jeremiah Wright in 2008.

Mitt the Mild thought he could coast to victory by inspiring confidence, by smiling a lot and sounding presidential about nothing in particular.

Even the discussion of Obama’s record of economic carnage was in muted tones: Not, this out-of-control ideologue is killing the middle class and destroying our future, but, oh dear me, we just can’t afford four more years. Never send a RINO to do a conservative’s job.

Have you noticed how the media blather about negative campaigning was conspicuously absent this year? That’s because the negativity came exclusively from their candidate.

Obama successfully tagged his opponent as a corporate-raider, down-sizer, outsourcer and health-insurance-snatcher, who ate widows and orphans for breakfast on Christmas Day.

The meme was multi-millionaire Mitt wants tax cuts for the rich. Mitt disdains the middle class. Mitt’s a liar. Mitt wants to let his Big Oil buddies destroy the environment to reap obscene profits. Mitt would deny women contraceptives and then force them to have their rapist’s child.

Instead of talking about Obama’s radical ties (Wright, Ayers, Occupy Wall Street, Van Jones) and his illegal amnesty for illegal aliens (or his assault on the Constitution generally), instead of exposing his war on Christianity combined with his breathless love affair with Islam, it was: Don’t you know we can’t afford four more years? Obama tossed red meat to his base. Romney dangled a balance sheet.

Smart candidates in a tight race go negative because it works. Fear and anger (Voting is the best revenge) always trump sweetness and light. Obama figured that out early on. Romney is still staring vacantly into space waiting for light to dawn on Marblehead.

Much has been said about changing demographics. This usually relates to the browning of America  – the shrinking white majority combined with a rising minority population.

That’s only part of the picture. More than in any past campaign, this election reflects the left’s success in re-creating America in its image: a nation more single and secular than ever before a nation whose symbol is a hand raised palm up.

Family and faith (the bedrock of conservative votes) are eroding. The gender gap is more of a single-women gap. In 2008, John McCain, nobody’s idea of a hot date, won married women by 3 points, while Obama won their unmarried counterparts by 41 points.

Married women, especially those with children (where Republicans really clean up), are thinking about the future in a serious way how to make ends meet, save for the kids education, plan for retirement.

Single women are concerned primarily about the government’s ability to help with the consequences of their inability to keep their legs closed.

For decades, the left promoted singleness by encouraging easy divorce, welfare policies that made government daddy, and loosening sexual restraints.

They’ve also turned single women into the newest victim group by cultivating resentment. Spurred by the religious right, Republicans are coming to take away your reproductive rights, the left warns. Destruction of the economy is a small price to pay for the freedom to eliminate those pesky products of conception. The Democrats are selling not liberty but license. Single women fell for it like chicks swooning when Magic Mike struts on stage.

Two decades ago, Billy Graham’s virtual endorsement of Romney, in full-page ads, would have been a quite a coup. This year, even if the Romney campaign had chosen to capitalize on it, the impact would have been far less pronounced.

In 1990, 8% of Americans said they had no religious identity or affiliation. By 2012, that number had grown to 19.6% (including fully a third of adults under 30). By portraying the devout as sexually repressed bigots, fanatics and anti-science zealots, the left (through its legions in the news and entertainment media) has grown this demographic.

While Republican candidates always get the lion’s share of regular churchgoers, according to pre-election polls, the unaffiliated were breaking for Obama over Romney by 65% to 27%. This is another constituency the left has both helped to create and assiduously courts. Under Obama, for the first time, a delegation of atheists and agnostics was welcomed to the White House.

While Romney’s 47% comment was inaccurate (retirees on Social Security aren’t the same as AFDC recipients), in many ways, America has become Gimme Nation a people in relentless pursuit of stuff provided at the taxpayers’ expense. De Tocqueville forecast the end of democracy in America when a majority learned they could vote themselves benefits from the Treasury.

The number on food-stamps has grown from 17 million in 2000 to 30 million in 2008 to 46 million today, with one in seven Americans now dining at Chez Taxpayers. The regime even had local USDA offices throw parties to promote participation.

Perhaps 40% of the nation is hardcore entitlement addicts. We believe we’re entitled to have someone else buy our groceries, pay for our health care, give us college loans that never have to be repaid, and help us buy houses we can’t afford. I’m surprised there’s no Federal Plasma TV Assistance Program.

Obama knows how to work this sense of entitlement: The rich aren’t playing by the same rules as they rest of us. They just have to pay a little more so you can have your stuff. Entrepreneurs didn’t build their businesses; we all did with wonderful roads and bridges, so we can take as much of what they have as we want.

As we move from the Greatest Generation to the Boomers to Generation X-marks-the-spot to dig for buried government treasure, the sense of entitlement grows and the sense of responsibility fades.

But it’s Romney who bears ultimate responsibility for Tuesday’s debacle. When asked how Lenin and the Bolsheviks defeated democratic socialist Alexander Kerensky, the late Ayn Rand of Atlas Shrugged” fame observed, “You can’t beat something with nothing. Exactly.

A day after loss, conservatives point fingers

killough.mugshot.4
Posted by

(CNN) - Following Mitt Romney’s loss to President Barack Obama, conservative leaders wasted no time Wednesday offering pointed criticism of the Republican Party and its pick for president.

A coalition of social conservatives and tea party activists gathered in Washington to decry what they described as Romney’s failure to represent conservatives on a national level.

“We wanted someone who would fight for us. What we got was a weak, moderate candidate, hand-picked by the Beltway elites and country club establishment wing of the Republican Party,” Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder of Tea Party Patriots, said in a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington.

“The presidential loss is unequivocally on them,” she added.

Pushed from the right in the Republican presidential primary, Romney sought to paint himself as “severely conservative,” though the former Massachusetts governor had taken Democratic positions on certain issues in his political past.

Brent Bozell, president of the conservative Media Research Center, argued that Romney failed to pass the ideological test, saying he ran as a “Democrat-light” and adjusted his positions to campaign as a moderate during the general election.

“At the end of the day, conservatives were left out in the cold. It should have been a landslide for Romney, had he embraced a truly conservative agenda,” Bozell said. “But Romney’s a moderate and his campaign embarked on a bizarre…defense from the outset.”

He further faulted the GOP presidential nominee for not adopting a political strategy of defining his opponent and going on the attack early on. Citing the president’s record, Bozell argued “it should have been a cakewalk for Romney to define (the president), but he didn’t–hence Obama’s victory.”

On social issues, Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the anti-abortion rights group Susan B. Anthony List, blasted the candidate for not making abortion a central part of the 2012 dialogue.

“He took all the right stances,” she said. “The problem was not communicating on the national stage with Obama what his actual positions were.”

The group endorsed Romney after he unofficially became the nominee in April when former Sen. Rick Santorum dropped out of the race. Dannenfelser said they were “happy to endorse him when the time came” but expressed frustration when she said “we assumed, that given who he was, he would make (abortion) more of a national issue.”

Looking at the party on a macro-level, activists also acknowledged Republicans had work to do in terms of adapting to the country’s demographic changes. Alfred Regnery, president of the Paul Revere Project, issued a stark warning for the GOP.

“If Republicans don’t start to listen to (what minorities are looking for in a candidate), it’s going to be a long time before they can win,” he said.

His comments echoed those made my former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who earlier Wednesday said on CNN that the party now faces a “very serious moment” and argued the GOP should work on becoming more inclusive–a major challenge, he said, for House Republicans.

“The question is do they want to, in a disciplined way, create a schedule and a program and include people who are not traditionally Republican?” he said.

All the activists at the press conference agreed that Tuesday’s election signaled a need for the GOP to re-institute more conservative “fundamentals.” While some argue the Republican Party’s failure to retake the Senate or make gains in the House suggests the tea party is losing steam, the group of individuals Wednesday argued the opposite.

Given this week’s results, they said, conservatives will be even more motivated to reform the party. Richard A. Viguerie, chairman of ConservatieHQ.com, ended the press conference with one final prediction.

“Tea partiers will take over the Republican Party within four years,” he said.

Why Scott Brown Failed To Get Re-Elected

November 7, 2012 in 2012 Election, Politics, Senator Scott Brown by Admin1

Why Scott Brown Failed To Get Re-Elected                                                                           by: The Angelic One

Wed Nov 07, 2012 at 10:20:09 AM EST

Although a final count has yet to be made, Democrat Elizabeth Warren last night ousted Massachusetts Republican US Senator Scott Brown.
Scott’s re-election was his to lose & he proceeded to do just that.
Was it inevitable? It didn’t have to be. But the reasons for Brown’s
failure to hold on to “the people’s seat” aren’t complex & sadly
reflect a lack of vision that tragically afflicts both the man himself
& his political party.

When Brown won his seat in a special election following the death of
legendary Democrat Ted Kennedy, he had a golden opportunity to create
a new image for the Massachusetts Republican Party that reflected an
alternative strain of the Bay State’s culture. It could be a party that
represented the culture of New England – not the culture of the American
South, or the Midwest, or even the West Coast. His initial success was
due, in part, to his ability to win over independent & Old Left voters.
All he had to do was boldly articulate a practical ideology consistent
with the values/culture of Massachusetts that would transform the Bay
State & (if successful) a blueprint for reuniting the American nation.
Such an approach would revitalize the state GOP & make him a rising star
on the national scene.

Instead Brown squandered the opportunity. He cultivated an image as a
moderate that made no ideological sense once you studied his voting patterns
on certain social or economic issues. The lack of continuity generated an
impression of opportunism. After awhile he came across as somebody who tacitly
accepted the Democrat paradigm since he refused to question its foundational
assumptions. Indeed, his “bipartisan” or “moderate” approach more often than
not validated the worldview of the democrat Party. Is it no wonder that when
presented with the “real” thing in the person of Warren that voters chose the
“authentic” voice of the Democrat paradigm over the pretender Brown?
The Angelic One :: Why Scott Brown Failed To Get Re-Elected Brown
campaigned that he “was one of us” without bothering to articulate how
he would leverage his membership in this “us” group into being a successful
national/international leader. He thus came across as too small for the office
once held by the great men of Massachusetts’ past political history. He was
too small to even bother having a prominent role at his party’s national convention
(in sharp contrast to Warren who used her appearance at her party’s convention
to bolster her brand as a rising progressive star). Massachusetts voters are proud
to be at the vanguard of changing the country (& the world). They expect their
leaders to carry out their role as thought leaders & change agents. Brown never
aspired to anything beyond being a nice guy who is willing to compromise for the
good of all.

Did that attitude get him re-elected? The question answers itself. And the emphasis
of Brown’s campaign to hammer away at Warrens inconsistencies at the expense of
the good guy image he cultivated – to go “negative” – reflected a desperation
stemming from the realization that Brown had nothing to offer the public beyond
his personal charisma. To paraphrase Osama Bin Laden, he wasn’t a strong enough
horse in the eyes of the voters. There was no “there” there.

And in that regard, Brown perfectly reflected – if not personified – the consistent
shortcomings of his party. The Massachusetts Republican Party remains visionless,
bitterly disorganized, & not up to the task of governing millions of people who
will support anyone & any party – no matter how corrupt – as long as said
individuals & the party to which they belong continue to deliver a practical
ideology that offers most of them some tangible benefit to their lives.

Voter intimidation and Fraud is Again Rampant Across US

“We electors have an important constitutional power placed in our hands: we have a check upon two branches of the legislature, as each branch has upon the other two; the power I mean of electing at stated periods, one branch, which branch has the power of electing another. After the 2008 Election, Attorney General Eric Holder ignored the the documented voter intimidation case in Philadelphia, PA. As a result, voter intimidation has returned. A review of the 2008 case follows:

“The New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case, sometimes known simply as the Black Panther Case, is a political controversy in the United States concerning an incident that occurred during the 2008 election for president in the United States. The New Black Panther Party and two of its members, Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, were charged with voter intimidation for their conduct outside a polling station in Philadelphia. The Department of Justice later narrowed the charges against Minister King Shabazz and dismissed the charges against the New Black Panther Party and Jerry Jackson. The decision to dismiss the charges has led to accusations that the Department of Justice under the Obama administration is biased against white victims and unwilling to prosecute minorities for civil rights violations. These charges have been most notably made by J. Christian Adams, who in May 2010 resigned his post in the Department of Justice in protest over the Obama Administration’s perceived mishandling of the case, and by his former supervisor Christopher Coates.”

The Case for an Overwhelming Defeat of Obama and his Minions

November 5, 2012 in 2012 Election, Freedom, MA, Obama's America 2016, ObamaCare, Obamanation, Oust Obama, Political Courage, Politics, Senator Scott Brown, The Stakes for the 2012 Election, United States Constitution, United States Sovereignty by Admin1

Unless we fundamentally transform our nation by electing Senators , Congressmen and a President that will work together to refocus and redirect , our society,  fiscally and morally,  our country will be headed in the same direction as our European neighbors across the pond, namely Socialism.

Additionally and most crucially this election is the most critical in generations because:

1. If re-elected Barack Hussein Obama will  continue molding our country  into a weak,  Socialist, apologetic nation while Mitt Romney will mold our country to a strong, Capitalist, trustworthy nation.

2. At least two Supreme Court Judges, who will determine the direction of our jurisprudence for several generations,  will be nominated by our next President.

3. Obamacare will not be repealed unless we have Mitt Romney in the White House and majorities in the  Senate and House. Additionally, It has become quite apparent that the changes to Medicare, resulting from Obamacare’s implementation, will be  costly for Seniors, young workers and our economic well being. Additionally, if allowed to be implemented, Obamacare  is guaranteed  to override our  fundamental God given and Constitutionally recognized Right-of- Conscience  by imposing  Anti-Religious  mandates.

4. We can no longer tolerate a Chief Executive who for his own political expediency and beliefs  pits one ethnicity against another,  the poor against the rich, the young against the old and promotes all manner of class envy.

As stated earlier, an important issues in this election is whether America will abruptly be turned toward Socialism or remain a Capitalist society. Obamacare will not only affect the elderly but “…will impose massive penalties on young workers, small businesses and others…” Thus,  Obamacare promises to not only lead us towards Socialism but also promises to further Bankrupt our already  precarious financial position and to accelerate our demise over the oft mentioned Financial Cliff

We can not allow legislation  like Obamacare,  which came to fruition by extreme Congressional misconducts like the “Cornhusker Kickback ”,  the  ”Louisiana Purchase” and a host of other covert “deals”, to  destroy our nation’s financial viability, our  Individual Liberty and our National Sovereignty.

This is our time!  The candidates that we elect will serve in office for the next two, four or six years. If we do not choose wisely, those years could be agonizing. So vet the candidates, know their core principles,  choose wisely and vote for candidates that will strengthen our Constitutionalism, our Capitalism and will reject Socialism!

Marriage battles, assisted suicide, GOP sellout‏

October 28, 2012 in America's Collapse, America's Heritage, Election, MA, MassGOP, Political Deception, Politics by Admin1

 Re-Post of Email Updates from  MassResistances:POSTED: October 26, 2012

Hope for Change

 1. Battle against “Assisted Suicide”:Ballot question in Mass. goes into high gear. Large bi-partisan support for “NO” vote. Polls still lagging, but catching up.

2. In the four “gay marriage vote” states: Gay lobby and pro-gay donors spending millions in final weeks of campaign. But pro-marriage forces continue to fight hard.

3. More big money:National homosexual movement teams up with “conservative” GOP groups to elect radical gay activist Republican, Richard Tisei, to Congress in Mass.

4. Coming up this week . . .

1. Battle against “Assisted Suicide”: Ballot question in Mass. goes into high gear. Large bi-partisan support for “NO” vote. Polls still lagging, but catching up.

Momentum appears to be moving our way in the battle to defeat the “physician assisted suicide” ballot question in Massachusetts (Question 2) on Nov. 6. Recent polls generally have shown about a 60-40 lead for the “Yes” vote. But a barrage of well-honed “No on 2″ television and radio commercials by the Committee Against Physician Assisted Suicide has begun to hit the airwaves, and the sense is that it’s making a difference.

Television Ad “Pharmacist”:

`

Television Ad “Out of Control”:

`Radio spot “Doctors”

Presenting the facts changes minds on “assisted suicide”

Most people who have not heard much about Question 2 generally react on a “compassionate” emotional level. But when they are presented with the facts and arguments regarding the actual wording of the bill itself, and how that will affect them and others, they are quite likely to change their minds.

There are a couple of major points. As we’ve documented, the bill itself is very poorly written and is fraught with dangers. There is the subversion of the role of doctors from healers into killers. And there is the record of what actually happens when assisted suicide becomes legal (e.g., in Oregon or Switzerland), versus the “lore” presented by proponents.

Bringing the message directly to the people

We’re doing our part taking the message forward. On October 18, MassResistance’s Brian Camenker, also part of the ballot committee MassLifeWithDignity.org, spoke opposite a supporter of the measure at the League of Women Voters forum in Norwood.

It was an interesting comparison between the two approaches. As you can see in the video, the “yes” arguments are largely emotional and mostly supported by the liberal establishment and various medical activists. The “no” side is able to use the facts, including the problems with the text of the bill, the recent experiences in places where it exists, and the larger historical context. The “no” side is also widely supported by the medical profession.

VIDEO: The 5-minute speeches pro and con the “assisted suicide” question. At right: Brian Camenker makes a point.

The audience at the forum watches.

Liberal media not in the tank on this one!

The liberal media has been surprisingly reluctant to carry the water for this, even though it’s part of the traditional progressive agenda. Probably the most aggressive article we’ve seen was posted yesterday by The Atlantic. It hits this issue right between the eyes:

“Physician-Assisted Suicide is not Progressive” by Ira Byock, The Atlantic

What’s also interesting is that the Boston Globe — arguably the most liberal big-city paper in the country — has published considerable material opposed to the measure, far more than articles supporting it. Much of it is very well thought out and compelling.

For example, in the Boston Globe:

“Question 2 is deeply flawed” by Liz Walker (former TV anchorwoman)

“What about do no harm?” by Jeff Jacoby, Globe columnist.

“Jack Kevorkian comes to town” by Tom Keane (former Boston City Councilor)

But the battle of the polls still continues in the final stretch. Our sense is that the TV commercials are changing a lot of minds. Let’s hope it’s enough to make the difference on election day.

ACTION SUGGESTION: We guess that many voters will show up at the polls with no knowledge of Question 2. We think that holding a sign with a clear, brief message would have a big impact. Something like:
NO on Question 2 or Stop Assisted Suicide! or Doctors should NOT kill!

2. In the four “gay marriage vote” states: Gay lobby and pro-gay donors spending millions in final weeks of campaign. But pro-marriage forces continue to fight hard.

On Nov. 6, four states — Maryland, Maine, Washington, and Minnesota — will be voting on “gay marriage.’

As expected, it’s become a battle against big money even more than in past years. As the final weeks of the election season roll by, the national homosexual group Human Rights Campaign (lavishly funded by corporate America) has been pouring $4.4 million into these races.

And earlier this week New York City’s billionaire mayor Michael Bloomberg announced he’s writing checks totaling $500,000 for this effort.

And this is just the latest rush of cash. On July 27, the New York Times reported that Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, announced he was donating $2.5 million to push “gay marriage” in Washington’s upcoming referendum. The article also mentions that Microsoft executives Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer have already kicked in $100,000 each. And the list of other corporations — from Adobe Systems to Wells Fargo — is staggering.

(This also shows the strategic importance of homosexual activists’ efforts decades ago to insert non-discrimination clauses into corporate personnel policies. That mindset has taken over the top levels of corporate management.)

On our side, the National Organization for Marriage is spending approximately $2 million. And the Catholic Church, in states like Minnesota, is also raising several hundred thousand dollars. Many individual donors are helping out, as well.

But to our knowledge, Chick-fil-A has not contributed anything substantial to the pro-marriage effort this year, despite the huge outpouring of support from pro-marriage conservatives on the “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” back in August.

According to press reports, the most recent figures for the four states are (in millions of dollars):

  State MD ME MN WA
  “Gay marriage” $ 3.7 3.4 7.8 8.9
  Traditional marriage $ 0.8 0.4 2.0 1.7

Pro-family forces fighting hard

The pro-family forces in each of the four states are fighting back in their own way. Each state’s pro-family groups are struggling with funding, but are finding creative and effective ways to get the word out. In each state, MassResistance material is being used in the fight.

We’ve been very impressed with Preserve Marriage Washington, which seems to be leading the fight there. In particular, they have posted some campaign ads/videos on the marriage issue that are REALLY good. They are not afraid to “tell it like it is” regarding the effect of homosexuality on society. And they do it in a very well-crafted, compelling way. Several of their videos use material originally from MassResistance, including the David Parker issue. Some of the videos are produced by them, others are done by National Organization for Marriage or Family Research Council.

You can see the Preserve Marriage Washington list of videos HERE.

We’re glad that Preserve Marriage Washington is being bold. We’ve been generally critical of pro-marriage groups that are afraid to discuss the central issue of the “gay marriage” fight — homosexual behavior and the homosexual movement — and instead fall back on peripheral or less effective issues such as “every child needs a mother and a father.”

As a result of this and other activity in Washington, they are improving in the polls. As we write this, it is pretty much a statistical dead heat (after previously being pretty far behind). And this is after the huge cash inflow by the pro-gay executives listed above.

Maine update:

Just today, Protect Marriage Maine has produced a state-wide TV commercial featuring David and Tonia Parker and their infamous case here in Massachusetts, which MassResistance first reported on starting back in 2005. This case was used by the Maine people in the previous marriage fight there in 2009, and we’re pleased they’re bringing it up again.

TV AD: Protect Marriage Maine video of the David Parker case in Masssachusetts

Minnesota update:

This week MassResistance did a long interview with the State House bureau reporter representing dozens of Minnesota newspapers across the state, including Minneapolis and St. Paul. The subject was “What same-sex ‘marriage’ has done to Massachusetts.”

We’ll keep you informed as election gets closer.

3. More big money: National homosexual movement teams up with “conservative” GOP groups to elect radical gay activist Republican, Richard Tisei, to Congress in Mass.

Again, what’s happening in Massachusetts may soon be happening across the country.

Last week we reported that the national GOP establishment is pouring over a million dollars to elect Richard Tisei to Congress in Massachusetts. They have named Tisei as one of the select “conservative young guns” they want to focus their energies on to get elected.

We documented Tisei’s record: as a radical homosexual activist, dedicated to pushing “gay marriage” across the country; as pro-abortion (rated 100% by Planned Parenthood); as hostile to religious faith; as the only Republican to sponsor the “transgender rights” bill in the Mass. Senate; and the only Republican to vote against the state tax rollback in 2000.

Not exactly what one would consider “conservative.”

Big “gay” money coming in

Well, there’s more.

Who would ever imagine that the national homosexual movement would team up with GOP “conservative” stalwarts Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, and Speaker John Boehner? The infamous national PAC Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund has selected Tisei as one of its top candidates in the country for support. In addition, the pro-gay American Unity PAC has already spent over $500,000 for Tisei, according to the Associated Press. Adding to that, it’s likely that Tisei will get a good part of the $10 million that billionaire NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced he’s spending for pro-gay candidates.

Here in Massachusetts, this been buttressed by the Boston Globe and Boston Herald (both of which support “gay rights) which have both enthusiastically endorsed Tisei in their editorials.

As the Globe gushed in its lead editorial:“There’s longstanding evidence of Tisei’s willingness to defy his party and even public sentiment at key points; he voted against rolling back the state income tax from 5.3 percent to 5 percent because he didn’t think the state could afford to do so. He argues that, because he would be the only openly gay Republican to be elected to Congress, he would have a national profile of sorts. He would, and he should use it to press for tolerance and moderation among his fellow Republicans.”

The reaction among Massachusetts Republicans — very disturbing

We’d like to say that there’s been an uprising against how Mass. Republicans are being railroaded in the 6th District, particularly among conservatives.

But most of the people — and certainly all the GOP politicians — whom we talk to have pretty much abandoned their principles when it comes to the 2012 ballot box. And they basically believe Tisei’s slick TV ads saying he’ll “be a great representative for the 6th District.” The idea that “any Republican” must be elected seems to trump everything else. The voters may be pro-life and support traditional marriage, but they don’t actually intend to vote that way. The concept of blanking out a race on principle completely eludes almost all Massachusetts conservatives. It’s a sad and disturbing situation.

We even believe that as bad as the Democrat incumbent John Tierney is, Tisei will be worse because of the lasting impact he’ll have on the national Republican Party.

MassResistance bashed in homosexual press over Tisei

Not surprisingly, the homosexual press in Boston is having a conniption over MassResistance’s expose’ of Tisei. Leading the pack is Edge Boston which also supplies articles to other homosexual publications. Since MassResistance is the only pro-family group willing to confront this issue, we’re naturally an easy target for the vitriol of the homosexual lobby.

Last week Edge Boston published an article titled, “Ultra-Right Fights GOP for Helping Mass. Gay House Candidate” which vents their anger at us.

Interestingly, the charges against us are, well, true. For example, among their rants about MassResistance in the article:

MassResistance is trying to spread the word on Tisei’s “passionate support” for marriage equality. “He brags that he fought to make it ‘legal’ in Massachusetts,” the group’s website proclaims. “He believes it’s a civil right that must be granted across America.” The site also points out he appeared in a video made by MassEquality to promote gay marriage.

Yup, we’re guilty as charged. Of course, like so much in the homosexual press, the article plays the “dangerous religious right” card by labeling MassResistance director Brian Camenker as a “Christian conservative.” Well, not quite. Actually, Camenker is Jewish. But hey, it rounds out the article so well!

Take action!

Help us get to the bottom of this!

Since GOP Majority Leader Eric Cantor (along with Paul Ryan) was the ringleader in setting up and selecting this so-called “conservative young guns” group, we tried calling his office for a clarification on just how Tisei was selected over so many better-qualified candidates around the country. We were finally told that Cantor’s “press person” would answer that for us. But despite numerous calls and emails, that “press person” doesn’t get back to us.

Maybe some of you will have better luck. If so, please let us know what she says:

Megan Whittemore, PR person for Congressman Eric Cantor
Phone: (202) 225-2815
Email: Megan.Whittemore@mail.house.gov

Good luck!

4. Coming up this week . . .

MONDAY (or Tuesday): Voter Guide for Massachusetts state races. Including the Legislature, Governor’s Council, and Congress. We do a voter guide like no one else does (and have for every election since 2002)! Even if you’re not from Massachusetts, you will find this interesting, to see the extent that the homosexual / transgender (and socialist) movement has infiltrated government here.

WEDNESDAY: Special update on $1m lawsuit against MassResistance and Brian Camenker — an important victory — and big setback for the homosexual activist (and convicted sex offender) who’s suing us.

And more!

Benghazi – New Revelations – Benghazi-Gate – Obama Admin Cover-Up?

Obama avoids question on whether Americans in Libya were denied requests for help

Published October 27, 2012 FoxNews.com

President Obama has declined to answer directly whether a CIA annex was denied urgent requests for military assistance during the deadly attacks last month on U.S. outposts in Libya.

The president said neither yes or no Friday when asked pointedly whether the Americans under attack in Benghazi, Libya, were denied requests for help during the attack.   Fox News has learned from sources on the ground during the Sept. 11 attacks that the CIA chain of command twice told agency operatives to “stand down.”   “The election has nothing to do with the four brave Americans getting killed and us wanting to find out exactly what happened,” the president said first in a TV interview with an NBC affiliate in Colorado.

When asked again, Obama said, “The minute I found out what was going on, I gave three very clear directives — Number 1, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to,” the president said in a TV interviews with an NBC affiliate in Colorado.   The first attack occurred at the American consulate in Benghazi, killing U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and U.S. diplomat Sean Smith.   Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team that was at the CIA annex about a mile from the consulate when it came under attack. Upon hearing shots fired, team members asked higher-ups at the annex if they could go the consulate. However, they were told to “stand down,” according to sources familiar with the exchange.   Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and went to the consulate, evacuating survivors and Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack.   They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight. At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. Woods and fellow former Navy SEAL Glen Doherty were killed at the annex by a mortar shell at 4 a.m.   The CIA and Defense Department have denied claims about requests for support being rejected.   “The agency reacted quickly to aid our colleagues during that terrible evening in Benghazi,” said CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood. “Moreover, no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need. Claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate.”    Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said there was not a clear enough picture of what was occurring on the ground in Benghazi to send help.   “There’s a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on here,” he said Thursday. “But the basic principle here … is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on.”   Obama also said in the TV interview, as he said previously said, the administration is going to “investigate what happened to make sure it never happens again” and  find out who was involved in the attack so they can be brought to justice.   “I guarantee you that everybody in the State Department, our military, CIA, you name it, have a No.1 priority making sure that people are safe. These are our folks. And we’re going to find out exactly what happened but what we’re also going to do is make sure that we are identify those who carried out these terrible attacks,” the president said.

State Department emails from day of Libya attack show Al Qaeda-tied group on radar

By Chad Pergram Published October 23, 2012 FoxNews.com

A series of internal State Department emails obtained by Fox News shows some of the initial assessments of last month’s deadly consulate attack in Libya, including one email within hours of the attack that noted the group Ansar al Sharia had claimed responsibility.

The emails provide some of the most detailed information to surface about what officials knew in the initial hours after the attack. And it again raises questions about why U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice, apparently based on intelligence assessments, would claim five days after the attack that it was a ‘spontaneous’ reaction to protests over an anti-Islam film.   Ansar al Sharia has been declared by the State Department to be an Al Qaeda-affiliated group. A member of the group suspected of participating in the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi has been arrested and is being held in Tunisia.   The emails obtained by Fox News were sent by the State Department to a variety of national security platforms, whose addresses have been redacted, including the White House Situation Room, the Pentagon, the FBI and the Director of National Intelligence.   Fox News was told that an estimated 300 to 400 national security figures received these emails in real time almost as the raid was playing out and concluding. People who received these emails work directly under the nation’s top national security, military and diplomatic officials, Fox News was told.   The timestamps on the emails are all Eastern Time and often include the subheading SBU…which is shorthand for “Sensitive But Unclassified.”   The third email came at 6:07 p.m. ET and was sent to a different email list but still includes the White House Situation Room address and a subject line of “Update 2: Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibility for Benghazi Attack (SBU).”   “Embassy Tripoli reports the group claimed responsibility on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli,” the email reads.   Earlier emails did not go into who might have been responsible for the attack.   The first email indicates that U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and other personnel were “in the compound safe haven.” Officials later discovered that Stevens and three other Americans had died in the attack.   The first email was sent at 4:05 p.m. ET with the subject line “U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi Under Attack (SBU).”   “The Regional Security Officer reports the diplomatic mission is under attack,” the email reads. “Embassy Tripoli reports approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well. Ambassador Stevens, who is currently in Benghazi, and four COM personnel are in the compound safe haven. The 17th of February militia is providing security support.   “The operations Center will provide updates as available.”   The second email came at 4:54 p.m. ET, with a subject line “Update 1: U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi (SBU)”   “Embassy Tripoli reports the firing at the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi has stopped and the compound has been cleared. A response team is on site attempting to locate COM personnel.”

Obama Apology Tour Revisited – See Video. Do you Remember This?

Journalists come to Obama’s aid after Romney’s ‘apology tour’ attack

By Brent Baker   Published October 23, 2012   FoxNews.com

“The high point of that debate for Romney is when he devastatingly leveled the charge of Obama going around the world on ‘an apology tour,’” columnist Charles Krauthammer asserted on the Fox News Channel following Monday night’s third presidential debate.

But what Krauthammer saw as so powerful for Mitt Romney, the mainstream outlets tried to discredit based on the flimsy reasoning that Obama didn’t actually say the word “apologize.”   News media “fact-checkers” just can’t accept the characterization that President Barack Obama ever went on anything like “an apology tour” and they were quick to “correct” Romney for daring to make the charge.   Obama knew he had journalists as allies and so responded to Romney by contending “every fact-checker and every reporter who’s looked at it, Governor, has said this is not true.”   But the Dictionary.com definition of apology is “a written or spoken expression of one’s regret, remorse, or sorrow for having insulted, failed, injured, or wronged another.”   Krauthammer, a contributor to Special Report with Bret Baier, humorously dismissed the journalists’ defense of Obama as “about as weak an answer you can get.” He proceeded to paraphrase Romney’s response in the which the GOP presidential candidate quoted Obama “saying that we ‘dictate’ to other nations and Romney said we do not dictate to other nations, we liberate them.”   Romney’s retort left Obama “utterly speechless,” Krauthammer observed.   ABC and CNN stepped up to speak for the President. Minutes after the Boca Raton debate, ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos queried: “Any glaring misstatements by either candidate?”   Jonathan Karl zeroed in on Romney for claiming “the President went on an apology tour when he became President.” Karl told viewers “we’ve looked at all those speeches in those first foreign trips” and insisted: “The President didn’t apologize for America. He did acknowledge some mistakes that the United States had made, but there’s no way you could really call it ‘an apology tour.’”   CNN outright called the characterization “False,” plastering that on screen next to John Berman who acknowledged “when the President took office, he did travel to several countries talking about American foreign policy.” Berman cited one Obama quote which Romney had recounted, how in France Obama “said America has ‘shown arrogance’ and had ‘been dismissive, even derisive.’”   Yet Berman, who apparently doesn’t understand the concept of a metaphor, refused to acknowledge that constitutes apologizing for America, maintaining it’s false because Obama never specifically uttered “apologize.”   “In none of these speeches,” Berman asserted, “none of them in Europe or the Middle East or here at home – did President Obama use the world apology or say he’s sorry.” So, “our verdict here is it is false to call the President’s speeches ‘an apology tour’ even if he was critical of past U.S. foreign policy. He issued no apologies.”   There’s hardly a shortage, however, of examples of Obama chastising past U.S. foreign policy, so many so that just five months into Obama’s term the Heritage Foundation was able to produce a “Top 10 Apologies” list, starting with the speech in France which Berman quoted.   Among the instances cited by Heritage’s Nile Gardiner and Morgan Lorraine Roach:   – At a Summit of the Americas, Obama regretted how “at times we sought to dictate our terms.” In an op-ed about policy toward the America’s, Obama declared: “Too often, the United States has not pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors.”   – Speaking to the Turkish parliament, Obama rationalized: “The United States is still working through some of our own darker periods in our history.”   – Addressing CIA employees about an administration report which castigated the use of enhanced interrogation techniques against terrorist suspects, the President urged: “Don’t be discouraged that we have to acknowledge potentially we’ve made some mistakes.”   -  In a speech, Obama denounced the techniques used in the war on terror: “Instead of strategically applying our power and our principles, too often we set those principles aside as luxuries that we could no longer afford. And during this season of fear, too many of us – Democrats and Republicans, politicians, journalists, and citizens – fell silent.”   – In that same address at the National Archives, he went into full apology mode over Guantanamo: “There is also no question that Guantanamo set back the moral authority that is America’s strongest currency in the world. Instead of building a durable framework for the struggle against Al Qaeda that drew upon our deeply held values and traditions, our government was defending positions that undermined the rule of law.”   Obama’s got extra ammunition going into the election knowing the press corps will do their best to disarm potent attacks on topics where Obama is vulnerable amongst swing state voters.   Brent Baker is the Steven P.J. Wood Senior Fellow and Vice President for Research and Publications at the Media Research Center where he oversees the NewsBusters blog. He’s on Twitter as BrentHBaker.

Vodka For Votes – Voter Fraud!

October 22, 2012 in Election, Obama's America 2016, Political Deception, Politics, Voter Fraud by carlos

The plan: offering cheap vodka … for votes.    It was part of a scheme to steal an election in eastern Arkansas that included absentee ballot fraud and buying votes with money, food and even alcohol.    “I guess I always knew all along it was wrong, but I really didn’t think it was that big a deal,” explained former Democratic state Rep. Hudson Hallum. “I always heard … that’s what everybody did.”   Hallum and three others have pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to commit election fraud during the special election that put him in the Arkansas House of Representatives in 2011. A total of nine people have been charged by federal and state authorities in connection with the plan.

According to the indictment filed by the U.S. attorney’s office in Little Rock, Hallum told co-defendant Phillip Wayne Cater, a West Memphis, Arkansas City Councilman, “We need to use that black limo and buy a couple of cases of some cheap vodka and whiskey to get people to vote.”   Prosecutors say Carter, along with Hallum’s father, Kent Hallum, tried to get a discount from a liquor distributor in Memphis, Tenn., on 100 half-pints of vodka, for $200.   In Little Rock, at least one brand of vodka retails for $2 per half-pint plastic bottle, so it does not appear they would have received any savings.   “Folk gonna vote for whoever pay them,” Carter was quoted as saying.   The conspirators did not end up following through with the plan to trade vodka, but did allegedly trade money and food, determining that “$20 to $40 was too much to pay for one vote … but was acceptable to pay for the votes of multiple members of a household.” In addition to offering goods and money in exchange for votes, the indictment alleges that Hallum and his father even opened unsealed absentee ballots — and the ones that were cast in favor of his opponent, Kim Felker, were “destroyed” so they wouldn’t count.   Hallum received a lopsided landslide in the absentee ballot count, garnering 394 votes to Felker’s 67.   “I was horrified,” Felker told Fox News about the vodka-for-votes scheme, as she sat on her porch in Crawfordsville, Ark. “This is not a third-world country, this is east Arkansas, and this is something you hear of in another part of the world. … The people in our district have been duped, really. And we are the ones who are suffering.”   Court documents detail Hallum’s “absentee ballot strategy,” which included submitting absentee ballot applications on behalf of voters, tracking when they were mailed, assisting voters in completing the ballots, and in some cases completing the absentee ballots without regard for the voter’s choice.   The fraud was exposed after Felker received a phone message from someone offering her absentee ballots for her race, which is against the law. She reported the call to authorities.   Felker, a retired special education school teacher and farmer’s wife, was making her first run for political office at the time. She lost by only eight votes out of 1,772 cast, and told Fox News she would have won the election had it not been stolen from her.   “I think my votes were not turned in,” Felker said. “I had always been suspicious of that, but I thought maybe it was only a case of several, but I was shocked.”   Felker said the experience has taught her that those who claim there is no voter fraud in the country should “come to my house and talk to me. There is voter fraud.”   “The most fundamental rights we enjoy as American citizens include the ability to vote,” declared U.S. Attorney Jane Duke, who prosecuted the federal case.”Voter fraud schemes … have the devastating effect of eroding public confidence in elected officials and disenfranchising voters.”   “The system is broken,” charges Arkansas Republican Rep. Bryan King, who is advocating new measures to ensure the integrity of the election process.   King has waged a campaign for tougher election laws in Arkansas, including voter ID laws, in an effort to change what he says has been a long-standing culture of voter fraud corruption in his state. He is calling for better monitoring of election administrators, prosecutions of voter fraud allegations and mandatory sentences for those convicted of voter fraud crimes.   He also wants the state to establish “a panel of independent judges and prosecutors, because a lot of these prosecutors don’t want to prosecute voter fraud because of the political consequences.”   He said: “What we had in eastern Arkansas, and some other places in Arkansas, is voter fraud had never been prosecuted, no one was looking, no one was watching. … If we can’t put our faith in the election system, then how can we put our faith in the people that were sent up to represent us? People need to have faith in elections, and that they are being administered fairly.”   Tim Humphries, the Arkansas State Board of Elections legal counsel, said “the system was definitely corrupt over there.”   “If these people had not been caught, then that certainly impacts the integrity of the election process,” he said.   Humphries said the Board takes voter fraud allegations seriously and that cases like this “show that we’re vigilant here in Arkansas about these sorts of things.”   After pleading guilty to the federal charges in September, Hallum resigned from office, and along with his three co-defendants is expected to be sentenced before the end of the year. He faces the possibility of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.  He did not respond to messages from Fox News and his attorney, Glenn Lovett, declined a request for an interview with Hallum.   In an interview with Memphis Fox13, WHBQ last month, Hallum defended giving voters food, since the election coincided with a flood in his district, and he said people needed help.   He did express regret for other actions, saying, “I took something from them, and that was their trust.”   “At the time, I absolutely didn’t think me going to get somebody something to eat during a disaster, was wrong,” he said. But he admitted that, “As we went along, I definitely started figuring out that we were doing some things that were absolutely wrong and, I didn’t stop when I should have.”   Hallum also apologized to his fellow legislators at the Arkansas Capitol, writing them that he accepts responsibility and “took some bad advice that led to some bad decisions on my part … It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve with each of you and our state is a better place for what you have done.”   Despite his guilty plea and removal from office, Hallum is still on the ballot for November’s election — running against Green Party candidate Fred Smith. He resigned after the deadline to remove his name, but if he wins again, election officials say he will not take office and a special election will likely be held to fill the post.   Felker said she has no plans to run again anytime soon. What especially stings, is that when she votes, she is reminded of her father, who served in World War II, and of her uncle, who was a prisoner of war.   “When I cast my vote, that’s who I think about and when I look at a ballot, that is what I think about, and that is what got me when I found out that my opponent and his father had torn up my votes,” she laments.   “I would not sell my vote for anything.”   She has a message for all Americans about voter fraud: “Don’t just sit back and take it. If something is not right in our voting system, and it is messing with our democracy, you’ve got to step up and do something about it, because that’s your most basic right, your vote. If that is compromised, then you are going to see democracy disappearing.”   If you suspect voter fraud where you live, tell us: Voterfraud@Foxnews.com

US sovereignty At Risk – United Nations To Monitors United States Election and To Be Placed At Polling Stations Around The U.S.

United Nation ( Maybe From pakistan) To Go To Texas Other State To Tell Them How To Vote! Call Your Gov & Tell Them No!!! US sovereignty At Risk – United Nations To Monitors United States Election and To Be Placed At Polling Stations Around The U.S.

United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers around the county on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places.   Liberal-leaning civil rights groups met with representatives from the OSCE this week to raise their fears about what they say are systematic efforts to suppress minority voters likely to vote for President Obama.   The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the NAACP and the ACLU, among other groups, warned this month in a letter to Daan Everts, a senior official with OSCE, of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.”

Trevor Loudon recorded this video a couple of weeks ago. It is His message to America. In it, Trevor Loudon attempt to explain the global implications of the upcoming US elections.

This election is the most crucial in modern American history. It is not primarily about jobs and economics, it is about national security and, to be blunt, national survival.

America, and indeed the entire Western World, faces destruction if communist sympathizer Barack Obama is returned to office.

This video is being distributed all over the United States. Please watch it, and if you agree with the basic ideas expressed, send it out through your networks, to as many people as you can, conservative, liberal, undecided, it doesn’t matter.

Sometimes it takes an outside view to clarify important matters. Trevor Loudon hopes this message will serve that purpose.

Mitt Romney & Pres Obama Each Dilivers Remarks At Annual Alfred E. Smith Dinner

October 19, 2012 in Election, Mitt Romney, Politics, President Obama by carlos

The presidential campaign, heavy on finger-pointing and recrimination, is taking a brief but abrupt detour so President Obama and Mitt Romney can play politics for laughs.   The rivals are quieting the bickering to address the venerable Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, a white-tie gala Thursday evening at New York City’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel that has been a required stop for politicians since the end of World War II.

In keeping with tradition, both candidates have prepared lighthearted fare for the fundraising event organized by the Catholic Archdiocese of New York for the benefit of needy children. That was the case almost precisely four years ago when Obama and GOP nominee John McCain poked fun at themselves and each other just a day after an intense presidential debate at Hofstra University on Long Island.

As in 2008, this year’s dinner comes in the wake of a confrontational debate, also at Hofstra, lending an air of drama to the pivot from acrimony to humor.   What’s more, the dinner’s host is Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, which has clashed with the Obama administration over contraception provisions in the new health care law. Dolan has said he received “stacks of mail” protesting the dinner invitation to Obama. But Dolan has sought to avoid playing political favorites, even delivering benedictions at both the Republican and Democratic national conventions this summer.   The dinner was Romney’s only public event Thursday. Obama planned to campaign in New Hampshire, one of the most competitive states in the election, before taping an appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” with host Jon Stewart.   Romney and Obama were traveling to New York, a state firmly behind Obama, as their campaigns mounted an aggressive appeal for undecided female voters.   During stops Wednesday in Iowa and Ohio, the president mocked Romney’s remark during Tuesday night’s debate that as Massachusetts governor, he received “whole binders full of women” as he sought to diversify his administration. “We don’t have to collect a bunch of binders to find qualified, talented women,” Obama said.   Romney made his own pitch to women.   “This president has failed American’s women,” he told a crowd in Chesapeake, Va. “They’ve suffered in terms of getting jobs,” he added, saying that 3.6 million more of them are in poverty now than when Obama took office.   His campaign aired a television commercial that seemed designed to soften his opposition to abortion while urging women to keep pocketbook issues uppermost in their minds when they vote.   On the celebrity front, Obama picked up the endorsement of rock star Bruce Springsteen, who also backed the Democrat in 2008. In a letter on his website, Springsteen called the president’s term a “really rough ride.” But he said that “though grit, determination and focus, the president has been able to do a great many things that many of us deeply support.”   Springsteen planned to appear at two events for Obama on Thursday, including a rally in Ohio with former President Bill Clinton.   Romney traveled on Wednesday with comedian Dennis Miller, and singer Lee Greenwood warmed up his crowd in southeast Virginia.   The political dinner in New York is named for the former four-term Democratic governor of New York who lost the 1928 presidential race Republican Herbert Hoover. Smith was the first Catholic to run for president.   While the Catholic Church has differences with Obama on abortion, contraception and same-sex marriage, the Conference of Catholic Bishops also has clashed with Republicans, opposing GOP budget plans that cut programs for the poor and criticizing efforts to deny illegal immigrants tax refunds from the $1,000-per-child tax credit.

“Leave It Blank” and all other resistance to Senator Brown, regarding U.N. Treaties, is formally and indefinitely suspended!

October 18, 2012 in Politics, Senate, Senator Scott Brown, United Nations, United States Constitution, US Sovereignty by carlos

For Immediate Release:

“Leave It Blank” and all other resistance to Senator Brown, regarding U.N. Treaties, is formally and indefinitely suspended!

This comes after an official statement from Senator Brown’s office that; “Due to the economic disaster of the “fiscal cliff” and other extremely urgent budget issues facing the Congress, Senator Brown will not allow any cloture votes on any U.N. Treaties or social issues during the “lame duck session”. Further comments from his legislative staff detailed the Senator’s commitment to focusing his full attention to working on the budget, taxes, and spending controls to assure, to the best of his ability, that these issues are resolved above all others.

As strong fiscal and social conservatives, in a very liberal state, we will not always agree 100% with Senator Brown, as he tries to represent all the people of Massachusetts, but we should all be able to agree with this official statement and place our 100% support behind Scott Brown in this very difficult race.
