In a Strange Mix of Bedfellows Senator Scott Brown Backs Mumbles Menino and Disses Chick-fil-A

July 29, 2012 in Abuse of Power, Anarchy, Chick-fil-A, Constitutional, MA, Politics, Senator Scott Brown by Admin1

President Obama’s  utter disregard for our Constitution has now migrated to the lower echelons of our government bureaucracy.  The chief of the Boston Patronage Machine, the inimitable Mayor “Mumbles” Menino, flexed his unconstitutional authority in an attempt to deny Chick-fil-A from opening a store in Boston. Menino’s rebuke is ostensibly because of the company’s “Christian values”.

In usual far-left fashion, Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Emanuel came out and backed Mumbles assault on Chick-fil-A, saying in a statement that Chick-fil-A would be unwelcome in his city.

Then of all people, Senator Scott Brown comes to the inimitable Mayor Menino’s aid and wrote from in his South Boston Headquarters that “I disagree with what the CEO from Chick-fil-A said. I was glad he spoke further and said that his company does not discriminate.” Come on Senator, you know better than to conjure up unjustifiable images of discrimination.

What Dan Cathy, president of the Christen rooted Atlanta-based company, said in an interview is that,  “we’re inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage.”  Cathy’s father founded the chain and instilled biblically-based principles in its operations, including the practice of closing on Sundays in respect to the Christian day of worship.

Oh my gosh! A chain that closes on Sundays to respect biblical teachings and supports biblically based tenets! These guys must be a threat to our National Security so to hell with their 1st Amendment Rights!

Enter stage left, Mayor Michael Bloomberg who appears to arrive from a SYFY Episode because he disagrees with Mumbles and sides with Chicken-fil-A and their incontrovertible right under our Constitution to operate a store  in Boston.

Even stranger than Mayor Bloomberg’s SYFY Episode is the Boston Globe’s editorial statement that, “The president of Chick-fil-A opposes gay marriage. While this view goes against the grain in a state that made history by embracing it, it’s no reason for Mayor Thomas M. Menino to oppose a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Boston.”

This episode once again proves that politics can indeed be stranger than fiction!

Mass Coalition’s April 15th Patriots Day Rally on the Common

April 16, 2012 in Anarchy, Boston Tea Party, Events, MA, Occupy Boston, Patriot Day Rally, Tea Party by mike

Brigit Fay Boston Tea Party Co-Founder speaking Photo by The New England Journal of Aesthetic Research.

“Last week in a statement, the Greater Boston Tea Party appealed to members not to attend the event on the Common. The statement said the Mass Tea Party Coalition appears to focus mainly on social issues, including opposition to gay marriage and abortion.

“We want to grow our numbers, not exclude people,’’ Christine Morabito, president of the Greater Boston Tea Party, said in Worcester Sunday.

Bridget Fay, an organizer of the rally on the Common, said the Greater Boston group is wrong to completely separate social and fiscal issues.

Often, social liberalism is quite expensive,’’ Fay said.

She described the coalition’s approach to activism as “more of an all-of-the-above’’ strategy welcoming social and fiscal conservatives.  Fay hedged when asked if she thought the coalition could work with the Greater Boston group to pursue shared political goals.

“It depends on whether or not they want to,’’ she said”.

The speakers at the Boston rally did touch on social issues, but they also addressed such hot-button policy items as the national health overhaul passed in 2010 that is currently the subject of a landmark US Supreme Court case.

Texas congressman Louie Gohmert, the keynote speaker in Boston, decried the law during his remarks.

“Obamacare means the government has the right to control everything,’’ he told the crowd, which included many participants who carried signs with slogans such as “Freedom Not Socialism.’’

The above Quotes excerpted from the Boston Globe  Dual rallies highlight fracture in Mass. Tea Party

The Occupoopers attempted to disrupt, intimidate  and halt all of the speakers from expressing their 1st Amendment Right of “..freedom of speech”  They trampled all over our rights and even brazenly cut off our  power  through an unguarded door to the Bandstand. This is what happens when a political establishment kowtows to anarchists because of  a political agenda. Even though we had a legal permit and were assured beforehand by Boston Police administrators that our area could not be penetrated, a sole police sergeant on duty  allowed the   Occupoopers onto our Permitted Area thereby  allowing  them to attempt to perpetrate their mayhem.  However, our speakers exemplified the theme of this year’s Patriot Day Rally, “Patriot Courage” and carried on unabashed, troopers that they are.

Now  lsten to the debate between Rich Howell representing the Tea Party Coalition and Christine

Morabito representing the Boston Tea Party on the  Jeff Katz Show. You decide whose principles,

values, and tacticts  represent the those of our Founding Fathers’ vision, our Constitution and

our Capitalist economic system!   Click here to liste:       Jeff Katz Show Apriil 16th

Romneycare is the Basis for Obamacare’s Anti Catholic Legislative Regulations

February 8, 2012 in Constitutional, ObamaCare, Presidential Candidates, Romneycare by Admin1

Can the Obama Administration institute regulations that will prohibit the free exercise of Religious Freedom guaranteed under the 1st Amendment of our Constitution? Is the Obama Administration just following the lead of the Romney Administration’s implementation of Romneycare?

Romneycare Required Anti-Catholic

Regulations Like Obamacare’s

By Jim Meyers

Mitt Romney is vociferously attacking a provision in Obamacare requiring religious employers to cover birth control in employee health plans — but the healthcare bill he enacted as governor of Massachusetts also contained that requirement.

C.J. Doyle, executive director of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts, told the Boston Globe that Romney’s criticism of President Obama is hypocritical because as governor he did not lift the state-level requirement of contraception coverage.

Veterans Not Allowed To Use ‘God’ In Funerals At Houston VA Cemetery

August 1, 2011 in Constitutional by mike

This morning, Jeff Katz mentioned the following outrageous story from Houston:

Three separate organizations have come forward complaining the cemetery’s director and other government officials are violating the First Amendment. Members from the Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion and the National Memorial Ladies all complain of “religious hostility” at the cemetery.

A 26-page complaint outlines the allegations. According to the court papers, the cemetery’s director, Arleen Ocasio, bans the word “God” and requires prayers to be submitted for government approval.

“We were told we could no longer say “God bless you” and “God bless your family,” said Marilyn Koepp, a volunteer with the National Memorial Ladies.

Nobleton Jones felt belittled when he says a government official told him he couldn’t use the word “God” in his recitation to a family as he handed them a

bag of shell casings from a gun salute.

If you would like to express your displeasure at this censorship the number to the Houston VA Cemetery is 281-447- 8686.  (Thanks to a reader for sending this information!)
